Myetherwallet is the best wallet i have ever used. but it supports ERC 20 tokens only. if you need to store BTC , best one is Coinbase , its the best security wallet you can use.

Im using this wallet for a long time now and it safe for me, always use bookmark to avoid phishing sites.But if its about safety for saving money, go for a hardware wallet and that's more reliable and better than MEW wallet.
It may cost some money but it's definitely worth it for a newbie that doesn't have an idea on how to keep his coins.

Actually ICO token had been creating with the ethereum block chain hence it is called erc20 tokens so that's the reason we go with the myetherwallet.

Myetherwallet cant take some or all coins because they are not made to be store on ethereum wallet/platform, so it might demand getting more wallets like the NEM wallet for TKY etc, Nano wallets, Neon wallet, blockchain etc. we hope more wallets will be added base on the projects and developments. Most of the recent wallets seem to be made to be market strategies for the coin and also to create platform for the projects form of operation. One might need more than Myetherwallet to store his coin
