Thank you for your reply. The currency is really BTC, our good old grandfather. And according to the hashes, I will say that I observed it myself, in the old versions of extracting hashes like $bitcoin$96$ includes the key-wallet MasterKey. Do you not know this? The private key is really not included in the hash, it is not there and I did not find a hint of it either. (but is it really so) But I think there is some information such as salt or the like. I would like to understand this in detail.

the nowadays bitcoin hash from bitcoin core wallet is:
$bitcoin$[length of last two AES blocks of MasterKey]$[last two AES blocks of MasterKey]$[legth of  the salt]$[the salt]$[noumber of iterations in hash function]$2$00$2$00

Hello everybody! Question to Wallet Password Recovery Is your service still running? I have my old wallet with more than 10 coins. Judging by your approach to work, when you can only send a hash, you can be trusted. What other data can you get from the hash besides the password?
yes, still alive and kicking! you did not mention what kind of wallet it is and what currency?
bitcoin core and BTC? Nowadays it is helpful only to recover the password, no private key can be retrieved from the hash.

well looking in this service it's pretty cool but can't truly ref someone to use the service because it's 50/50. Why if recovered and fails to not notify the rightful user.
who are you talking about??

This site still active? Been trying to recover my own wallet without luck so far. I know / remember some / most of it but it is long and complicated and I could be remembering some details wrong of course.

hi,
in order to dump private keys I need the wallet file. Then I have to spend some time adjusting scripts to extract them in proper way.

yes, I can work on that.
hi, I was able to dump private keys from pivix wallet using mentioned pywallet. There is a problem in importing them to new wallet. Yes pywallet needs modification to dump it in demanded format, originally is designed for bitcoin not pivx.
It needs investigation, some programming... hours of work
If you decide yes, please use my contact form on the web, fees apply.

This last step, 'Knowing the password you may try to extract the private keys from your old wallet and if success import into fresh new wallet'

I am not how to extract the private keys from my old wallet. I have a small update from pivx. This is what I was told.

"Hey, I'm really sorry to say that I've tried a handful of things and I can't compile a version of the wallet that will decrypt even when it thinks the password is bad". I believe this (which wagerr is a fork of PIVX) probably happened to you: https://www.reddit.com/r/Wagerr/comments/85iotn/wagerr_mainnet_wallet_password_not_working_but_it/ I have reached out to them, but they never provided PIVX with the corrupts wallet and I can't figure out what changes they made to pywallet to get it to work... here (https://github.com/wagerr/wagerr/issues/36?ref=tokendaily) they state that they are planning to create a website to walk through the steps but I can't find that site either so I assume they never got around to it

https://www.reddit.com/r/Wagerr/comments/85iotn/wagerr_mainnet_wallet_password_not_working_but_it/

https://github.com/wagerr/wagerr/issues/36?ref=tokendaily)

Now that some progress is being made, you think you can be any help to me?

well, so if you have reinstalled the client, the support have done the same and the problem persist, I would ruled out the problem with the client.
I would look for a problem with wallet file. You turned off the computer while closing the client. The wallet file might not be closed properly.
Knowing the password you may try to extract the private keys from your old wallet and if success import into fresh new wallet
