Use Trust Wallet if you're required to provide a BSC wallet. It's very easy to use.

Right, also i would like to recommend TRUST WALLET because  here can SWAP erc-20, bep-20 tokens in this wallet even without leave the wallet. Very Convention and easy interface to use. I will provide this smart contract address if i need to use in the bounty and others. In METAMASK i find a bit annoying to use because it takes a long time to log in and need to put password for every individual log in.

BSC or ERC20 wallets are the same, so it doesn't matter if you provide a wallet with the same address because the only difference here is network, for ERC we only need to check etherscan.io and for BSC bscscan.io

please I'm a newbie and still learning about crypto, bounty, and wallets but the most challenging aspect is the wallets. please the is this bounty I'm doing of which demands a BSC ( binance smart chain) wallet address but I provided my metamask wallet because they all start with the same format. please I want to know whether my token will be received through it or my token cannot be paid through the metamask wallet I provided.

Yes. You can still receive BSC tokens even if you use a metamask wallet. You just need to change the mainnet system and it's easy to do. You can see tutorials that have been written in this forum.

You can easily get bsc tokens in your metamask wallet. But I do not recommend metamask for beginners. Because metamask will force you to use it at first and you may need to add tokens one by one. You can find the necessary usage information about metamask by doing research both on the forum and on google. You can take a look at this topic. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/delete-3124084

But instead of metamask, I would definitely recommend a trust wallet for more functional use. You can use all kinds of crypto money assets on this wallet very comfortably on your phone.

An easy ethereum wallet is erc 20 . and bsc is bep20. both have the same address characteristics but the chain is different. sending the wrong wallet can result in the loss of the asset. just that simple. it must be explained what type of wallet is needed.

Metamask wallet is for ERC20 tokens and that's what you need to have if the bounty asks for an Ethereum address for their ERC20 token reward and stakes.
This is wrong I think, metamask could become a wallet for various chain as long as you set the RPC right, and BSC is just running the same EVM and ethereum protocol it's not gonna differ and if any, it's minor difference.
The method to get the address from privkey is also the same so basically just changing the network to BSC by providing the RPC to the wallet is enough.

Relax... you don't have to worry. As explained by many members above, you can use the BSC wallet from your ETH wallet in metamask by adding the BSC mainnet network. You can see the complete method here: https://www.bsc.news/post/connecting-metamask-wallet-to-the-binance-smart-chain
it's easy and accompanied by pictures, hopefully this can help you.

Thank you very much for your explanation  but please if I have change it to BSC or RCP mainnet in my metamask can I still receive tokens from ether as well, without changing anything again?
Yes you can because metamask didn't delete the other/pasti network, it only add the new one. You can view the ETH/BSC/RCP mainnet on top right the browser. Be sure you paste the correct address and fill the memo if you saw it.
Yea .. nothing to worry about, we can choose which network we will use.

Don't confuse wallet and network, wallet is a software (e.g. Metamask, Trustwallet) while network it's a coin/token smart contract/chaincode.

Binance Smart Chain network is copy paste the code from Ethereum Network but less decentralized (less validators) , this is why the address/format is same with each other. So it mean the 12 password recovery is also same for BSC or ETH wallets.

But be sure you should connect your Metamask wallet to Binance Smart Chain first before receive a token on BSC network to prevent from loss (this guide in my above post).

I know that it can be very intimidating to not know what you are doing as there are so many coins and wallets on this market but take this as an opportunity to learn more about the market and why it is worth so much money, some other users have already published good guides so in that respect there is nothing for me to add except that you actually read the guide and do your best to follow the steps given there, and also if you can learn more about how to secure your coins as that seems like a field in which you need more information as well.

Actually you are in the lucky category for giving away a Metamask wallet, not a BSC extensions wallet. Because in my experience, transaction fees on Metamask are much lower than BSC extensions. You just need to set up the mainet, and it's very easy to do. There may be many explanations for this.

Your bounty might not appear at first its common since only few are automatically registered in metamask and other wallets, but I'm sure you'll still get your bounty since BSC and ERC-20 are basically the same and will be registered your bounty tokens once you receive it.

If you're sure that your bounty tokens are already distributed to everyone including yourself then you should follow this step:

1. Open your metamask wallet
2. At the bottom click add token
3. Try searching the token symbol of the project you participated in, if it appears click it but if not proceed to next step
4. Click the Custom Token right next to search option
5. Find the designated Contract Address of your token then copy paste it in first column
6. Put the token symbol (its the initials of the project e.g. BTC, ETH etc.) on the second column
7. Lastly you should copy and paste the decimals of the token (you can find the decimals from where you found the contract address)

I hope it helps, at first it's kind of confusing because it has so many steps to follow but after doing it once it's hard to forget, so you'll be okay once you successfully claim your first tokens.

No need to panic mate, you sure will get your bounty reward if you set up everything right, binance smart chain wallet addresses and Ethereum erc20 wallet addresses are exactly the same and sometimes comes with the same private key too, so all you have to do is get your erc20 metamask wallet address private key and import it as a binance smart chain wallet on your metamask, if the project you are promoting or promoted isn't officially listed on metamask already, this means you won't be able to see the tokens you received or when received, all you have to do at this point use the add custom token button to add the token to you metamask list, if this is done right, you should see your reward appear if it's already sent or will appear when it's sent.
You can also make use of mobile wallets like trust wallet, trust wallet is more sleek and way more user friendly than metamask, and the beautiful thing is, you can import both your binance smart chain and Ethereum chain wallets to trust wallet too. Simple and easy.

You just need to add the BSC address into your metamask wallet to show the tokens available there. And metamask is not the only cryptocurrency wallet as well, there are lot kf wallets available for different coins and some support multiple cryptos while some other support only one coin.

If you send your tokens cross chain and to the exchange that does not support ERC-20 chain or BSC chain, you will lose your tokens.

You will have to open support ticket and rely on rules and support from exchanges to get your wrongly-sent tokens. You have to self aware that it will be your serious fault and exchange will not be responsible to spend their resources because of your fault. They will bear risks when expose their private key just to support you.

Just add the smart chain network on your Metamask and you'll be fine. Another option would be to import your Metamask private key on BSC wallet, but the risk is great since you're exposing your private key. Better do it offline when you do this.

Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum have the same addresses. You can use one skin for all blockchains that are compatible with Ethereum wallets.

Be sure to get a hardware wallet ledger or trezor. Connect it to the metamask to work safely. If you are a beginner, you are at high risk of losing money by stealing your seed phrase.

It is ok that you provided your Metamask wallet address (I guess by that you mean your metamask ETH address). The BSC address of your metamask wallet is the same as your ETH address you just need to manually add the binance smart chain (BSC) to your metamask. BSC is basically just a simple copy and paste of the ETH network with the big advantage of very low fees (like 0,10 -0,20$ per transaction) compared to the ethereum network. That's why the address is the same.
Here is a guide how you can add BSC chain to your metamask wallet.

That's something you still get. You can still receive BSC in your Metamask wallet. You can use this tread as a method of setting Ethereum mainnet to BSC.
