No way. Investor based games has the most scams.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=207.0

it's literally all scams.

No. Your assumption is wrong.

Investor based games is the section where all ponzis are expressing their schemes. Everybody knows what a ponzi is right? You can either profit by investing some money or lose them all at once. You need to use your brain to decide whether to invest there or not.

Thats why Investor based games is a subsection under Gambling section because you are basically playing with your money there.

Code:
Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Gambling > Investor-based games

And Digital Goods is a separate section where scams generally happen due to the fact that everything sold or bought in this section are basically hacked or generated accounts. You must be aware of the facts before buying anything from this section. And always use escrow.

It was never said this is 100% the most scammy board but the point is clear.
It is probably the most scam ridden section and I agree at least you know that section you said is full of scams, this is meant to be a legit board. Also investorbased gives you a big warning this section is yet to do that hopefully it will soon.
People selling carded this, carded that, cracked accounts etc etc and there is more and more each time I look.

As a seller in Digital Goods, yes the reputation of the boards sucks. a lot of new accounts waiting to scam other people.

I suggest to the Moderators, why not lock the marketplace for at least Members and Above so that scammers cant just make another account and sell it

Of course there is a probability of using Alt Accounts, but if you think about it alt accounts might be more expensive than scamming a few $ and for bigger transaction there is always escrow.

Just my opinion since everyone is complaining and no one is suggesting for a solution

This would help, but otoh, I have seen plenty of legitimate newbies selling stuff here too. (And bought from some of them as well just fine).  Maybe if creation of new threads was limited to members or above, but even then, I don't know)...
I agree, some sellers just wants to sell and dont want to post other stuff in the forum

If thats the case then why not create 2 digital section like the other forums where the one are the trusted members and the other one are for newbie.

We can also do a vouch system where people need to get at least 3 or more vouch before he can sell on the trusted marketplace

You see a lot of carded deals, hacked accounts, and outright scams but there are also some good offers out there. Good rule of thumb is if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

No offense intended in the following phrase:
No shit, sherlock. Its too vague and secondly, its something like saying , the world is filled with women/children/man/workers/computers , misleading the actual fact. That is: Some of the topics/people here are scams/scammers. This dude gets it
Individuals must protect themselves. You'll find scammers on every board in here.

As to the people asking the thread to be sticked/"pinned" , it just doesn't happen like that  Roll Eyes

Watching this section is like watching wrestling between scammers.

Scammer vs. Scammer

Only missing option to purchase popcorn and betting results  Grin
Yeah the popcorn would probably be hacked and you'd get scammed on the bet.

Lastly, you'd leave to see that someone had spray painted in red "SCAMMER!" all over your car. Cheesy

This is probably the most scam ridden section of this forum.  Be safe.

Even when someone isn't out-right "scamming" you in this section, it's very likely they're scamming someone else by bringing you the product. This is a vicious cycle, don't get yourself caught in it.

I agree completely, and yet I see you ask for a vouch copy in a Panera GC that's a $100 value being sold for $15. If that's not a scam to someone, I'll shoot myself. Follow your own advice and don't encourage these threads.  Grin
Well, if we can get something for free from the scammer. Why not? Tongue
Enjoy it while it lasts.

Seriously, I doubt anyone will fall for that kind of scam. Unless... Roll Eyes

Individuals must protect themselves. You'll find scammers on every board in here. We should be more afraid of script kiddies than the common $1 scammers.
