Thanks for this.., I think I need to refrain from accepting crypto clients for now as I am not equip with complete knowledge of examining them if they are have a plagiarized materials or to check if they are fake, etc.

You should not, you should  just be aware the of your obligation, disclaimer is a must if there are issues address it and call out the developer it's also good that you have a screenshot of your conversation that you are not part of the team, oif course you have a business and your business is legal;
I've support all scam busters here and I appreciate their effort and this is my favorite section, but all this time I never gave any manager red trust if they can prove that they are working independent, and they can take quick action, we all have a responsibility to protect this forum from scammers.

But how the hell we will know if a sheep who come to us for service is actually a wolf?
You simply have to invest some time and do due diligence. That is the only way to protect yourself and the others. Remember, while you might not have bad intentions, when you make an ANN for a scammy project, someone might invest in it, and will loose the money.
After all, you can always contact any of the scambusters on this forum if you are suspicious about potential client, and I am sure that many will help you.

I changed my negative feedback to neutral for now, let's see if you gonna be more careful from now on.

Thanks for mediating...

Glad that you did this is a big lesson to all that any announcement thread should not be put in the moderated thread, because investors are looking on neutral feedback and those who has an evidence can post there so the issue will be confine in the thread for the team to answer, if I find something on the project and the thread is moderated I will not going to post there, because the purpose of moderation is to only see good posts, I'll go here and post my findings.

Are you goin to report them if you found one ico in their portfolio is a scam?
Yes, I will report them every time if I find they promote ponzi schemes or doing plagiarism.
Anyone can open account here and claim he is 'designer'.

Problem is that you ignore the issue, and refuse to expose other members involved in this crime (wealthnook aka virtual assistant),
you are protecting them and you choose to take all the blame on yourself.

Thank you,  some  ann designers are also posting ANN of their clients in their behalf specially if client has no bitcointalk account.

That's fine and not against the forum rules.

But how the hell we will know if a sheep who come to us for service is actually a wolf?

The same way you choose clients in real life. You do the basic research. If you doubt the legitimacy of a job, you simply reject it. It’s not worth putting your reputation at stake for a few bucks.

Are you goin to report them if you found one ico in their portfolio is a scam?

Definitely yes. Anyone can make a mistake in their assessment. What matters is your reaction after it is pointed out to you. Anyone who continues to promote scam projects, even after being pointed to it, should be red-tagged by DT members. How else will other forum members be alerted to scam projects? Not everyone reads the Scam Accusations board.

As @pilosopotasyo commented, your mistake is that you made the thread moderated and you did not address the issue immediately. Would you even remove the ANN post if you didn’t get a negative trust? I guess we'll never know.

Heres a huge list of bitcointalk graphic designers I am also listed in this list..

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/overview-of-bitcointalk-designerssignatureavataretc-last-update-15-aug-2018-1610428

They are active in creating services for both good and scam icos. But how the hell we will know if a sheep who come to us for service is actually a wolf?

Bountydetective is the bounty manager of KingCasino and yet people are not tagging him this is double standard in the case of Layout
check this thread, no independent manager is perfect that is why they have a disclaimer for their service

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/kingcasino-turned-scam-5259635

His mistake is making a thread moderated which is a big no and closing it when there is report on the project

This is a lesson that if there is a report address the issue immediately.

You make harm someone to justify your report in the reputation thread. I dont even know how to check plagiarized whitepaper.. Should i waste my time checking all whitepaper of my client everytime I do freelancing?
Why do you think that checking whitepaper and other stuff like whether team is real or not is a waste of time? That way you are protecting yourself, and others. And yes, you should check whether something is legit before you start working with them, especially if you are going to put your name on their ANN thread.
As you said, you are making living out of it, that's why you should be even more careful when promoting someone, in order not to ruin your reputation.

This is a problem here, that you still don't realize your part of the responsibility here, and you are going even further by saying that checking whitepaper is a waste of time.

I am not saying you allow scam in this forum,  what i am saying is investigate further and dont just put a negative trust easily. I am not a part of their team and i dont even shill nor encourage everyone to buy it.  I am not selfish but you dont listen on my side.

Put your self in my situation, you make living as a designer. Someone ask you to make logos,  sigs,  ann.

Then suddenly,  one of your past client has a plagiarized whitepaper that you dont even created. You got a negative trust. You explain your self but no one believes in you.

You make harm someone to justify your report in the reputation thread. I dont even know how to check plagiarized whitepaper.. Should i waste my time checking all whitepaper of my client everytime I do freelancing?

I know you guys will get 1000 merits for this, but think about the lives of freelancers of who will suffer from your negative trust.

What exactly are you saying? That we shouldn't publicly expose scammers if we spot them? Don't be so selfish. Think about innocent people who will be lured into the scam by your actions.

I asked them for bitcointalk account I can put in the ANN incase of questions or inquiries. Wealthnook a personal account of their VA was given to me. I told you employer has no Bitcointalk account thats why I am posting in their behalf. As I said, this would be the last ANN i will render my account to post in their behalf.

As far as I know wealthnook is just their virtual assistant, I dont want to judge. Employer has no bitcointalk account.

Virtual assistant?!
I will not change my feedback for now, as there is no proofs for wealthnook and your claims that he should be contacted for any questions, and you want to protect your 'employer'

I think the responsible person for everything is the one who created the whitepaper. And I do not know if this is created by them or they hired someone to do the whitepaper writing.

Okay I removed the thread if this is the action you want to see. I will just inform the employer who hired me from upwork.  This is a big lesson to me, will also warn other Ann thread designer.
You also need to post all other bitcointalk members who are involved in this case with more proofs.

I am an ANN thread designer, see my portfolio: http://www.layout.ph I am being hired to create ANN thread by different ICO and crypto services. Why should I get a negative trust for this? If you think EURST plagiarized a whitepaper I am not responsible for it
Of course you are responsible for it. You are promoting project that obviously plagiarized whitepaper. Whose responsibility should be?

Instead realizing your mistake and  locking topic immediately, you still go on about not being your responsibility whether project is a scam or not, and trying to protect your self with some disclaimer that doesn't protect you from anything. And that concerns me in this case, your inability to admit how wrong your reasoning is.

By the way, why is that ANN still not locked?

Of course you are responsible for it. You didn't just design their ANN, you published it as well. You are promoting project that obviously plagiarized whitepaper. Whose responsibility should be?

Thats the only way I think I can protect my self. Just like what I said that would be the last I will require them next time to buy a copper membership account. Regarding scams, they said about 50% of ICO are scams. Even the signature we are wearing now. This might turn scams later on , or might be a good crypto services. I dont think its fair if you will get a negative trust from a bounty you supported that turns out to be a scam.

That would be the last ANN thread design I will allow my account to post in their behalf. Anyway I actually put a disclaimer I am not a part of their team and only posting in their behalf, you can verify this in webarchives. Please see the screenshot.
I am not blind and I saw this disclaimer.
So you think that if you put your disclaimer than you can create any ICO scam ANN you want without any issue?
Is that the way to promote anything for few bucks?

They hired me only to do their ANN thread design, i dont have any idea about the plagiarized whitepaper.

Now you know, don't you? What are you going to do about it?

In criminal justice, aiding and abetting a crime is a crime in itself. If you aid and abet a crime you can face the same punishment as the person who committed it.

Sorry I am not burst posting, I am just really upset and expressing my self. I am just a designer of ANN. And I did not created the whitepaper nor their website. They hired me only to do their ANN thread design, i dont have any idea about the plagiarized whitepaper.

You are burstposting as you could post all that in a single post, and not divide it in 3 posts with few minute difference.

I hope money they paid you was good, as you take some responsibility when you create original ANN topic for new projects.
You can now only wait for OP and others to review this case,
and watch what ANN topics you create in future.

First of all @layoutph you should read forum rules and stop burstposting.

Second,
You are responsible for creating selfmoderated topic and posting plagiarized whitepaper.
Think before you release something next time.
It is nothing against you personally but against EURST and their WP.

Obvious scam. The team wasn't even on EUST website.  All the newbies who posted to its ann thread is owned by the team to lift its thread up.

What happened: EURST  took whitepaper content from several various sources. On top of plagiarism, seems like they hired one of those bumping services, as newbie accounts suddenly appeared and started their "work".
