I personally don't understand the people behind all these scams. Because they are taking advantage of the bad situation currently being experienced by the people in Gaza, Palestine. Instead of helping the people in Gaza, they stole funds sent by good people by creating fake websites and Twitter. So the people behind all this must be arrested as soon as possible. Because his actions will definitely harm the people of Gaja who need help and will also harm donors. Therefore, these evil people must be stopped as soon as possible. Because apart from the fraud they commit, these criminals have created a donation system that can use cryptocurrency. So in that way the reputation of cryptocurrencies may be slightly tarnished by this donation system.

Using the ongoing genocide of Palestinians to rip people off has to be a new low. Besides, money is not going to help Palestinians who are placed in a prison called Gaza that is surrounded on all sides by the terrorists who bomb them day and night with their US donated fighter jets and bombs.
It is true, with the conditions currently experienced by the Palestinian people, money will not help much. Because the existing trading system in Palestine is definitely chaotic. Because, the war currently taking place between Israel and Palestine can be said to be the worst. But even so, the funds that may have been generated by these fraudsters could have been donated to the Palestinian people by buying them food. Because even though the Palestinian people don't need money, they definitely need food.

These scammers are really desperate and willing to do anything just to take advantage. I know this is not new to others who have also encountered this kind of scam in the past. At first, you really can't tell that it's fake unless you examine it closely. Fortunately, it was verified early, and hopefully, that website and the X account will be taken down to prevent further victims. I'm aware that there are many other groups doing this, and even if the current operation is taken down, they will continue to create new ones. This can't be eradicated quickly unless all of us refuse to fall for these kinds of schemes.

This also remind me of the Russia-Ukraine war where scamners created several fake donation avenues. Some even launched cryptocurrency token whereby anyone who buys into the ICO will be supporting the people of Ukraine. A lot of people actually fell for them before they realized it was all scam.

Not only that, even the pandemic and disasters like earthquakes, this scammers are going to create fake donation websites to lure people who at heart wanted to help. So this scammers are taking advantage of the psychology about empathy.

Scammers will not stop at anything when they know they can get money easily without doing anything other than writing fictional stories.
There are these low scammers with fake websites and there are others who go live on TV and gather support with fake stories about their life or their fight against some abuse. Somaly Mam is one such case, and she even managed to get a discourse at the UN :
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somaly_Mam.

Her husband's slipup is pretty telling:
Maybe they will have money from this scam attempts, but who knows, maybe karma will come and get them.

If some godly power like karma existed in the first place then we would not have a need for donation at all.
And you can see even in the crypto world, from Mark Karpeles to the lowest $10 scammer on the forum, karma is taking a lot of time to go into action.

It's a pain in the ass to see scammers mocking the hard situation of other people. Taking false money from philanthropists and helpers of the afflicted. It's good to have pointed them out and sun them in the eyes of the world. Hopefully people don't fall victim to them low level scammers, who have no sympathy on the suffering people. It's quite a difficult thing, and such users already selected crypto. Painting black the reputation of bitcoin. We all have to be careful and follow the genuine site meant for the donation.

Seeking personal gain from the suffering of others is the most evil act, even worse than murder. Fraudsters will always roam everywhere and various ways will be used to take advantage of other people's innocence.
This is the phenomenon of life, there are good people and bad people. Luckily, we are here among good people who always fight every act of fraud committed by people who want to take advantage of personal advantage. In my opinion, feeling sorry for the situation in Palestine is fine, look for a recommended fundraising place so that the aid you donate reaches its destination.

There are people who always wants to take advantage of situations when the time avail itself. They are everywhere not only here. We have heard about scam activities by fraudsters who took advantage of situations just like Russia/Ukraine war to scam people globally.

A fund raising event is ongoing but the truth remains that most people for the fear of being scammed do not really give in to the fund raiser anymore because they just feel instead being scammed, let them keep their money to themselves.

Playing with the sentiments of innocent people has always been the goal of scammers. When they find an opportunity they would try to cash it for their own benefit and that is what is happening now. Twitter has now become a place where in the name of free speech trolls are active and with the new blue tick policy, it is now easy for scammers to buy the tick and take scamming to the next level. I have been out of Twitter after Elon took it over and changed its name to X.com.
But this is the worst of the worst. Using Palestinians suffering to fuel their own illegal activity There are other kinds of scams, but this is the lowest. People are literally dying in Palestine..old, young, and kids. Even a criminal should have at least a shred of humanity. Let alone heaven, they won't get a place in hell for their sins.

Note: OP, I'll email the service provider. I hope that helps.

I not wishing ill to those who created this website, but if we believed in karma, these people will know what's coming for them.

I don't really believe in that karma of a thing... to me it's just a suiting word for the oppressed. I have seen even bad people prosper while good people die.  Those who start wars as business are live far from the war zones with their families while innocent people face annihilation.  In some countries, big thieves and criminals are celebrated because they throw money around while small thieves are punished and burnt alive sometimes. So, it makes me wonder what karma really is and if it is selective.

Even those who spread misinformation during the pandemic for economic gains,  including health practitioners that collected money to lie about deaths and test results, most of them are living large while many people died from their wickedness... karma might still be waiting for them to enjoying their money small before striking  Cheesy

We just have to be careful so we don't be in a situation of waiting for karma for help or justice.

In a war situation, many things happens.  To some people, it is all about making money... they see war as opportunity to cash out big time. Don't even be surprised that even among the higher ranks of both sides, the war is just business and the victims are mere necessary sacrifice for a good business.

We just have to be careful so we don't fall for the emotional blackmail of scamners.

These scammers are extremely despicable. Taking advantage of people's good intentions to help and using them for personal purposes is doubly despicable. You steal money, deprive those in need of it, and give an additional reason for everyone who wants to donate not to donate.
The scammers are the worse sets of people on this earth. How can you have the heart to take advantage of another humans suffering for your own financial gain? How the hell do these type of people sleep at night or have peace of mind?

I can add links to reliable organizations, but unfortunately all of them not accepting Bitcoin. I will try to search if there is a third-party service that accept bitcoin donation and sends cash to these trusted organizations.
We'd appreciate any help with the organization website. For me it doesn't matter whether they accept Bitcoin or not.  Thanks

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
The scammers never care about humanity they only care about themselves by scamming the victims of donations by saying humanitarian donations this is no longer strange but with warnings like this it clearly tells us all about scams under the guise of helping gaza, the same thing when Ukraine and Russia are at war there are many fake sites by asking for donations and spreading on social media.

It's cruel and conscienceless for the scammers, but that's just the way it is in the world, sometimes you just care without seeing how those there are struggling.

The OP's capture makes people realize that they should be careful about making unauthorized donations.

During the Russia/Ukraine war, there were fake donation platforms flying around on social media and now scammers are at it again, using the Gaza crisis to exploit people. Scammers are heartless and all they think about are their stomach. Some persons have sold their humanity and they can use anything to perpetrate their evil acts.

This reminds me of a story of a young dude who was chatting online with a fellow man who disguised as a lady and he was tricked into releasing his nudes. The scammer demanded for a ransom and kept threatening the little boy to pay up or he's going to post the nudes online. The lil fella couldn't bear it anymore and he committed suicide. After his death, the parents came across the chat and with the help of the security operatives, the scammer was caught and he's languishing in jail.

It is unfortunate that scammers are using this war to perpetrate their nefarious act. This should not be an avenue to do such a thing as people are going through lots now in Palestine. The Palestinians needs aid and support as they have been displaced from their various houses without shelter and food. If these scammers begin to scam donators who are willing to donate to the internally displaced persons at  Palestine and they find out others who are willing to donate would hold back their funds for the fear of being scammed as the funds would not get to the people who needs it.

I like the fact that you have exposed them and their fake website so that people would be aware. Is there anyway you can make it go viral so that it would be in popular circulation that the world would see it and avoid sending any dime to that wallet address. I believe members here already seen it and would do the necessary to make sure these scammers do not have their ways.

This is unacceptable for anyone who has some sense of morality. When the Russia, Ukraine war strted they tried to cash it by doing the same thing in the name of aid for the Ukranian people. Now, they have again come back in the same manner for Palestinian stuck in Gaza.

Some users of X.com might have already sent some payments to those wallet addresses. Everyone should be careful before donating for any cause as not always your donations would reach the right destination some go into the pockets of scammers like the one reported by OP.

Gaza is practically under siege, I don't know what this donation could buy for these victims now. What the people need now cannot be bought with money. Firstly the bombing needs to stop and there should be freedom of movement products. I don't think any goods can be smuggled in to Gaza. Maybe the funds would be used after the total blockage is over.

This is not a new low at all. Scammers have always been doing things like this throughout all recorded cases of violence or crisis.
It makes it almost impossible to trust anything one sees on the internet, I certainly will not send money to any random website or handle without doing days worth of research and communication with those who are handling it.
Humanity is failing because materialism has infused animalism into humans. Deaths and destruction mean nothing to people and they see it as a major source of revenue. One needs to be careful not to send money to some set of criminals who are lavishly living in hotels meanwhile the victims of the war are suffering from lack. Verifying these websites is important.

These scammers don't pick their moments; in times of global chaos, they seem to thrive even more. I'd go so far as to say they're worse than the people we condemn for taking lives, at least if we look at history. The latter often have some cause they're fighting for, but scammers are just exploiting the situation.

The OP's effort is a great way to raise awareness in the community. I'm pretty sure that those who aren't newcomers to the market have seen these kind of scams many times before and won't fall victim to them. But still, kudos for the effort, as a constant reminder can help us avoid making mistakes and falling for these scams.

Damn these people, taking advantage while the real affected ones suffers. I remember that whenever there's always this type of incident, there's always the scammers trying to fetch some money from the sentiment of people.

IIRC, there's also the same as the incident when the Ukraine-Russia war came out.

Twitter has now become a place where in the name of free speech trolls are active and with the new blue tick policy, it is now easy for scammers to buy the tick and take scamming to the next level. I have been out of Twitter after Elon took it over and changed its name to X.com.
Very easy to get into that verified blue badge that they provide, scammers can also have it nowadays.

Though this is not new --we must be careful, I looked at the donation addresses it seems a small amount was transacted and perhaps just because due to this warning made by the IRS. [ https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-beware-of-fake-charities-check-before-donating ]
Good thing the UK government published this [ https://www.gov.uk/government/news/gaza-what-you-can-do-to-help ] which the right guide.
