Wow, I didn't suspect the OP here at first, but this post points to OP being a hacker for trying to make the matter stick.

Quote

Please explain how exactly the page was hacked and how exactly you regained control.

Otherwise people can think it was never hacked.

Yup, unless the OP changes the title of the post, he's pretty much the hacker here.

Explain your logic! Why do you say that?

Update: I just read your edit.
So, you're saying denouncing a scam as fast as possible, warning people not to get scammed, and asking for full explanation makes me a scammer/hacker?

I was almost scammed by whoever had control of the page.

I definitely don't think "I have regained control of that facebook page." is enough to close this issue.

So Thorgrim, please explain how it was hacked and how you regained control.

prove:
- first to report
- took the text, not the link, cause he knows control can be regained on these company accounts. facebook ain't a noob at this.
- insist on the matter after Officially declared Hacked Hoax.

Doge crap to the next level indeed dude...   get a life.

watch, if he keeps trying this, he's just confirming it.

I have regained control of that facebook page.

It is unfortunate but Worldcoin seems to be the target of a lot of haters.

We will not be deterred however and will continue to push forward like we have been the past couple of weeks.

Wow. Definite scammers. Beware of the Worldcoin Foundation
The Worldcoin Foundation isn't even a thing anymore. The facebook page has been hacked by a scammer.

There's nearly a million dollars sitting in that account, and nearly 4 million has passed through it.
This is why people shouldn't be okay with scammers. That's 4 million dollars taken out of crypto by ONE SCAM GROUP.

This is either someone being spitefull or someone wanting to create some market chop to trade off of.

I think it's obvious it's someone scamming to get some free BTC and USD.

The facebook page has been hacked, yet again an insecure social network site !!

Allowing idiots to post whatever they want on a page that they should not have access to.

Not for one second do I think that after all of the work that the Worldcoin alliance and the community has been doing over the last few months would be thrown away by any of them.

They do not need to raise funds because ALL of the work done is done by the community for free and the mention of trying to raise funds is simply not true and I would suggest that as many people as possible report the page as soon as possible

Most of the time it's idiot users and insecure password. Where do you get the idea it's Facebook being insecure?

The old foundation facebook has been hacked.

The post is total BS. The foundation never ever had that many WDC and what they did have was turned over the Worldcoin Alliance a few days ago.

This is either someone being spitefull or someone wanting to create some market chop to trade off of.

Looks like their account got hacked? Personally I'd like to know.  Shocked
I was a dumbass that put a bunch of BTC into Worldcoin when the value was, oh, about 420% higher than it is now.

I'm trying to get out.  Huh

Yes, I'd think it was hacked.

If somebody got paid or can prove me wrong, please do!!
I want to be wrong on this one.

I think you're right.
Everyone should also keep in mind that the Worldcoin Foundation actually no longer exists, though the facebook page hasn't been renamed and is still being updated. The forum is completely empty as well.

Here's my private facebook conversation with them:

WDC selling. Is this legit? Could you please post in the Worldcoin Forum?

I'm interested in about .5 BTC worth of coins.

Worldcoin Foundation

Hi,

I am only selling it on facebook at the moment, if you are interested in buying please let me know as we can do this now.

Thanks

Okay, that's fine.

Please send me a BTC address, and can I also have the sending WDC address? I would like to take a quick look at the address through the block explorer to look at today's outputs.

Just kind of wary.

Worldcoin Foundation

Hi,

We do not give out our private addresses, if you are still looking to purchase it send the btc to : 17ZJDrtoMyHjyoddQCXNKEnZpuSCeCyVcr

And send us your worldcoin address,

Thanks

There is no reason you shouldn't be able to send me your WDC address. All I want to do is validate that you have indeed sent output transactions. Of course, I would receive the address anyway as soon as you sent the coins.
