I looked this thread even after april first initially made me think then after seeing April fool message got disappointed, Still I am searching for genuine reason for this market bull run. Unfortunately I couldn’t able to figure out . Hope this news will be true in near future.
Me either, Warren Buffet is a great philosopher and investing is really his passion. Yes, it can happen in the future but I hope Warren Buffet was still here to educate more people about investing and especially about cryptocurrency. We need a more genuine people about investing, there's a lot of things to happen in the future so let's be more optimist.

Big news! It seems that he has identified the bottom and is confident that a recovery is under way. Berkshire now has a bitcoin department which is why the price pumped this past week. Go get some!

*EDIT (10.30pm 1 April 2019)*

Happy April fools! jajaja Cheesy
Although this time next year it might actually be true Wink

What a pathetic attempt for an April fool's joke. The vast majority of us, the bitcoin users don't care about Warren Buffet and his Berkshire Hathway. His investment tactics earned him a lot of profit during the 1980s and 1990s. But unfortunately, the guy has fallen out with modern technology. He is like someone still using the 1.44 MB floppy disks to store the data, when 256 GB USB sticks are readily available.

I know pretty lame right? Though i've already read somr articles before stating the same thing and they aren't about april fools lol. Warren buffet has made quite the reputation in the business world but we all know he doesn't know much about bitcoin to be spewing out all those remarks.

it is not about not knowing or knowing about bitcoin. it is mainly about having certain principles as an investor and sticking to them and that part of it is respectable and we all should learn from him. these principles are that he only sees companies with a product as a viable investment.
but the part about him giving opinion about bitcoin and saying it wild end badly is pretty bad.

I believed Buffet is really investing in bitcoin even they din't tell or show publicly,of course for privacy and security reason. And we need people like buffet as a bigtime investors of bitcoin industry.

I don't think all of them will invest in Bitcoin.

I mean these people are well known when it comes to these types of industry and I think even if only one of those people invest on Bitcoin, some followers or some people that take a reference in investing follow him. I mean he is one of the richest people in this world, who would not follow him right? If that is really happening, that might really make a change to the price.

Everyone knows that Warren Buffet is not a fan of Bitcoin as he never found any intrinsic value of it.

However, if adoption rate will increase significantly and network lightning will be used frequently,  I think he might change his mind.
Although this has been posted almost 2 weeks from now, it is obvious that for now Warren Buffett will always claim that bitcoin is a poison rat and looks like he will never change his mind.

He's too old enough to understand the new emerging assets and his mind is now closed to look upon it. He's relying to the traditional assets and isn't willing to gamble with assets/store of value like bitcoin that he don't like.

He also said that he will never invest in tech stocks. You know what he did lately? he bought a bunch of Apple stocks. so, yeah - i totally agree. if adoption is going on widely, i also think he will change his mind

I think these people are always in the market but they don't want to be known right now. As the situation improved, they may let people to know they are in the market. By doing that they will enjoy the profit of their investments which they previosuly made. Then people see him as a genious and true investor who allways know stay at the right place on its time. One of people who are called whales might be him.

people are rising up to the reality of the blockchain technology in the globe as the time passes. Warren Buffet is just another folk that has awakened into the reality of the technology called blockchain. The fact that he has started gathering some bitcoins will further encourage investors and a whole lot of people also will consider their part as they join to further increase the community

This will be interesting if is really true but as it seems there is no proof to this. Thinking that Warren buffet has made his intentions know about Bitcoin openly and it doesn't look  like he is ready to change that anytime soon. So if he is going to probably change his mind to invest into bitcoin , then it’s going to be made open for everyone to see it. Just my thought.

It seems that i don't find it interesting anymore whenever i see warren buffet news dealing with bitcoin. I mean the guy obviously will not change his stance for btc and would likely make another statement against it. He's a wealthy man and he deserves respect for whatever he did to achieve his status but when it comes to bitcoin, he's just a rich old man.
Sure. Also I would think that this news is fake (or 1st April joke). An investment strategy os Warren Buffet is to find some underpriced business, buy it and then sell it for the full price. He is buying 1$ for 70 cents.
Warren Buffet can't use his common strategy with cryptocurrency speculation and I don't think that something made him to work with crypto and all those news are fake.

Warren Buffett being one of the legendary person who got termed to be a billionaire with his investment skills has been describing bitcoin has no value and it is completely delusional. The best part with him is that he has praised the blockchain technology which isn't expected from him. For this people began to speculate relating to the bitcoin. Even now it is not assured that he has invested into bitcoin.

I think it's very likely that Warren Buffet actually invested in BTC
They are people like him who can re-launch the market, people who when they make an investment of the kind ....
they do it because they know that it will benefit them "" economically ""
Who invests 80ML of dollars is certainly not a foolish one ..... Grin
We hope that another like him will arrive in the next few days , in order to revive the whole market.

Although this is an April Fool's joke, there is some truth in it and I think that such an experienced investor as Warren Buffet will not miss the opportunity to make money on cryptocurrency and Bitcoin. Looking at the huge sums of money transferred into stablrcoins, it seems to me that these amounts will flow into cryptocurrency in the near future, which should lead to an increase in the crypto  market.

Then I think it could be good news for the people because they know that someone like Warren Buffet have interest in bitcoin and he is investing in bitcoin. That will help with the price to lift higher, and maybe we will see good news too in the market. Then soon, the other people will follow what he did, and people will invest their money too. We need more people like Warren Buffet to get into bitcoin so the process of adoption will start bigger.

The price of bitcoin does not revolve around one individual investment and there was a time when the market moved according to any news that is coming out, but that is not the case now and even if the news of an old man investing in bitcoin is a true  Tongue, it does not make any difference in price simply because of that, the market is showing signs of recovery and hopefully we will see the market breaking the first resistance in a weeks time.

It does not but it may initiate a spike or a bull run, and even a mass adoption.  Known figures especially in finance industry have great influence over people.  Their thought are valued by their follower or those people who believe in them.  That is why it would be big if Warren Buffet make a U turn and invest in Cryptocurrency.  He will greatly influence lots of investors.
