I don't agree with Warren Buffet as he has given his statement over cryptocurrency with the experience of stock exchange because he is hugely successful in the stock exchange business. In reality, crypto and stock both are not the same in nature and they are playing a different role. So let's see what happens.

It is quite possible, but we will know this only when this bubble bursts. The question is, how long can this bubble last?
Bitcoin isn't a bubble, and if you feel if is,then leave the system, this is a network that has to do with adequate trading strategies in order to avoid loss, it has lasted quite well ten years on,so I don't see why it wouldn't last ten more, and the next ten.....
WB is simply spilling out crap simply cos he cant come to grasp with what this network is all about, the more reason he cannot invest in it.
He's simply spreading FUD, I think we can do with paying less attention to him

Here is the truth, warren buffet doesn't invest in what he doesn't understand just as forum have been advocating to you all, don't invest in ICO or promotion project you don't understand. Do you think it's a coincidence that the best and most experienced investor we have on planet earth didn't invest in Google, Facebook, Amazon and Twitter? His strategy has always been investing in what he understand and Warren don't understand must internet technology so i don't think he'll understand blockchain to more of investing in bitcoin. The guy is already rich and old.

Of course warren buffet was fudding btc, he missed the boat and wanted to get in. Now is the time to buy, when he puts his billions in you can expect a swift pump right back up to 5 digit numbers again

As much as I want this to happen, I really don't see Warren Buffet to get in on bitcoin at all. Warren Buffet is a known investor that plays it safe, and doesn't invest in risky stuff. He even says that he doesn't(or at least avoids) invest on businesses and companies that are technology-related as he wouldn't want to invest in stuff that he doesn't really understand.

"cryptocurrency will end very badly" Maybe the oracle was right all along.
End very badly? cryptocurrency didn't end yet. This is time to start it. If you think this is the end of cryptocurrency.  Why other user make profit with crypto? Why other people make their own ICO? Maybe in future, money has change to crypto   Grin

Technology moves forward every day, so one day something better than cryptocurrencies will probably appear. However, I'm  sure that this will not happen in the coming years. Buffett's words refer to a very distant future.

Warren Buffet is a well known investor, but he is quite old and he do not know how this kind of bussiness are working at the moment.
The huge crash, was planned by huge investors and whales, it is not just a coincidence.

In a few years, or months ,we are gonna see a huge bullrun again, they want to make profit again, they have already shorted bitcoin as much as they could.

The bitcoin is definitely not "ending",not to talk of ending badly, this forecast are simply baseless and count for nothing considering the huge progress the bitcoin has made in 10 years or so..
This predictions in my opinion shouldn't be taken seriously..
The bitcoin is surely here to stay for good, and to aid it's enthusiasts rise to financial freedom and carry out trade with no third party involved

Did you know that he regret this decision not to invest on Amazon earlier? because he didn't understand the business model and he doesn't understand techs at that time.

Quote
That's perhaps why Warren Buffett, the chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway, chose not to invest in Amazon when he had the chance. At Berkshire Hathaway's annual meeting in May, the self-made billionaire said he didn't appreciate the value of tech stocks at first.

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/28/if-you-put-1000-in-amazon-10-years-ago-heres-what-youd-have-now.html

So its not a clear path for WB as he made a lot of mistakes and I see the same will happen to bitcoin in like 10 years from now. The price will grow exponentially and those who have the chance to buy a couple years back will have their biggest regret, including the Oracle of Omaha.

Only time will tell whether Buffet is right.  He is a very good investor in industries he understands like banking, industrials, consumerables, insurance, etc.  But he certainly doesn’t understand technology or crypto currencies.

The best of men can go wrong, remember He didn't invest in Google because He thought Google will not succeed.
History is littered with men of great wisdom and insight going wrong
History is littered with the best of men going wrong and with the least of men being right

I will say you should not run with another man's conviction(s) and opinions(s)

A lot of what Buffet is into can be directly impacted by blockchain and crypto.      He is the epitome of the old guard,  the elite class of money that wants to keep it that way.

If I made trucks full of money off the backs of the poor and working class,  then saw a totally new segment that allowed these people to get a piece of the pie.. I'd do my best to talk it down and convince those people it isn't worth their time.

Do you think the cryptocurrency market is the only market experience downtrend?. this year has not been bullish as expected by all. No disrespect to Warren buffet but he's now old and has no understanding on the technology behind bitcoin. His experience are in the traditional ways of investing (which was stock buying) but now we have blockchain so he's a novice.  below is what the media won't tell you because they're all hating on bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.
