It is a bad idea to buy bitcoin cash when the market is not yet open for deposit. It will still be a wild ride until the deposits are open. Some bitcoin users who stashed their bitcoins on offline wallets are eager to dump their bch/bcc and are just waiting for exchanges to open their deposits for bch. There will be more bad news for op when it happens.
Now I won't buy it anymore too, but if you've played the first day right you got a nice bonus on bittrex...

Haha just by not have more knowledge and good calculated make them loss, however if not have them on market, the price of Bitcoin Cash in past day can't touch to $1000 and make surprise for us. Grin

Well to be fair it's not bad if they bought at 0.3 and sold it at 0.45 when the pump at bittrex happened. If they still held after it went down again well too bad for them.

When all exchanges open the deposits and withdrawels it probably will go further down, maybe not, who knows.

I think the price will have huge moves in the coming weeks and then it will find its trading range. This is so interesting! We are the part of something very big

Somehow BCC looks promising,
it has so many users as BTC, so the community is strong.
It is just couple days and visiting Mars,..... I have to monitor the situation as crypto is having many hype and unpredictable

Pump is better Smiley

Now price is going in right way. When will you all learn that there is nothing bigger then bitcoin. When did some coin went more then bitcoin and stay there. Answer: Not a single one.

Reading post here that some bought when it was 0.3. Xaxa classic one. When i saw i got this i sell immediately and not look back at all.
Sell while you can price is going on 0.03-0.05 which is for me realistic price for single one if not even lees then this one.

Yes waiting for the same.

Unfortunately, Kraken was the first one to announce BCC credits to BTC balances and I moved all my BTC's from Nova and Yobit to Kraken, the coin is doing great on both Nova and Yobit, however it's insane the way it's acting on Kraken.

Ended up loosing big money today, BCC started rising like crazy, brought 37 BCC's (some @ $530 and remaining @ 0.233 BTC) on kraken.

It went all the up to $811 on kraken and now falling endlessly, $310 at the time of writing this post.

My net balance of over $23000 is down to less than half at a little over $11,000.

it's at $425. now on KRAKEN 4:36am est... seems to be on the up again... try and sell some as it rises to recoup...
You never know, it may spike again B4 Aug. 10th... Good luck !

It's still rising everywhere else then Kraken, on Yobit it's $950 right now, I wish it rises to a point in Kraken where I could make even with the losses and convert it back to BTC.

WTF were you thinking when you bought BCC with a huge $23,000? Deym! That must be one very wrong move! You could have at least read some comments here whether it is wise to buy BCC this time. You could have learned some tips. BCC is good for dumping, at least for now. I don't know when it will rise again.

I started noticing at at around $370 and was skeptical about buying it, however soon I saw it rising and rising and rising, it went up to $1300 on Yobit, and over $1100 on Coingeeko, this tempted me to jump into the game and buy more and more of it, till the time I ended up spending all my $ balance, my ETC balance and my BTC balance.

BCC holders were waiting to dump their BCC since yesterday because the deposit and withdrawal were all disabled or restricted by exchanges and bitcoin wallet providers. It is really a pump and dump altcoin yesterday it was $430 now it became $300 or lower i haven't look at the price yet. People should really convert it before it loses value in the market while on other hand bitcoin price will be unstoppable and will continue to surge there should be only only one main crypto currency. Im planning to get bcc then convert it to btc, i wonder if bittrex is a good site.

There has been no major dump as far as the BCH is concerned. Check the charts from Coinmarketcap:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/

The prices have been more or less stable for the past 48 hours, with the BTC vs BCH exchange rates staying at around BTC0.16 to BTC0.17 most of the time.

Its up $250 the last 11 hours.

If you held you would have made money on the $530 purchase, how do you dump a coin your in at a loss on within 24 hrs?

This is really crazy. I checked the exchange rates in Bittrex, and right now it is going at 1 BCH = BTC0.34650000. In Cryptopia also, the rates are quite high at 1 BCH = BTC0.25856500. But still the spread between the two exchanges is very wide.

So far these 2 platform does not allow deposit of BCC, so all I can say is the price from a closed market isn't meaningful. ViaBTC, the only exchanges I was able to deposit and sell my BCC, the price is at 0.155BTC/BCC now.

Oh.. OK... So that may be the reason why the rates are quite high in Bittrex and Cryptopia. I guess the deposit feature is not working in YoBit as well. The rate is around BTC0.311 right now (close to $950 per coin).
