I think a lot of people met him in person at the Texas conference. Sad to see things went sour.

What did people say about his attitudes IRL? Are they just as bad as his internet personality?
I didn't have a chance to see his grace, somebody else here may have.

Is he actually banned though or is he just on another self-imposed exile?
I think he was permabanned till further notice a while a go because he just came in one day and started posting unrelated spam everywhere like "woke up in my bugatti" and "lol" all over various threads. He seems to have wanted to be banned as he was mostly conducting his business in his personal forum.

Is Goat still a goner?

Obviously. Does anyone actually want him back? If you tell him he scammed, he'll just do that reverse psychology BS.

He seemed to do nothing but boast about his supercars. The world will keep on turning without him.

This is pretty much the case -- no one know the details, but Goat comes off pretty scummy, to be honest. Especially when people started questioning him so he started offering bounties to DOX those people. That's a red flag in my book.

Generally if an accused scammer responds with threats rather than any other understandable behaviour it usually means they're guilty, I've had that happened to me before when I've pointed out what they're up to or questioned them, they don't like people who stand up to them.

I think that would make this the 2nd Goat banning.  He was involved heavily with the Pirate BCS&T and the securities crashes, got banned, bounced back and not sure what happened this time.  I believe he lives in Thailand

PG on the other hand, well he may have been exposed by the BFL employee who posted in the hardware subforum.

I noticed Goatman Phinnaeus Gage hasn't logged on or posted since the 17th either. I wonder if he was banned again too?

why was he banned anyway?

Pissed off the wrong guy

What did he do?

Goat was just goating aroud and a Schwedisch or French guy wanted his 1-2-3-4000 bcoins back from goat that he invested in some super bitcoin trade bot project.

But the project was a fiasco and everyone lost coins -as usual-, except goat because he blames GLBSE/Theymos for keeping the coins.

This may or may not be what really happened but this is what I can remember.
