Of course it is a scam. First of all, you can't find anything about that coin. Secondly, you are saying that the website is poorly made. This means that the person just made a quick website to prove the existence of the coin. Thirdly, it is "someone" suggesting you to invest in the coin. Do you know this "random" person? And again, why is it a private sale and does he wants YOU to invest in it?
Highly likely a scam. Avoid it if you don't want to suffer any loss.

hello guys,
I've been told too about this new crypto and suggested to invest. I've been invited.
I was looking for info about this "ICO" but I couldn't find any. I got a white paper that is ... I don't know how to define it...
The Iedgex platform is pretty "new" and the fact that the platform email is a gmail is pretty scaring.
I deposited some small amount to see how it works... I even tried to withdraw to see if it works... and fortunately if you still have BTC you can do it... if you converted in JSTB, of course not...
I hope that someone of you can share more info too

Some one gave me a tip to buy JSTB. I can not find any information about it online though.

The exchange they told me to sign up to buy it from is https://www.iedgex.com

I can not find anything on that either. The website also seems extremely poorly made.

Does anyone have any information on the coin or site?

That really looks like a scam because every research you made, points to that fact. That is, if a project do not have much information towards what the team are working on, then it is most likely a scam. Also, if the exchange a project is aiming to list on do not look good, it is also most likely a scam, in addition to this, the website of a project must have enough information to state the ideas of the team, because it is always the first place people will visit for information.
Moreover, private sale is taken very seriously by project owners and one of the attributes of it is that, it ends as fast as possible thus showing that the project idea is good and people are really going after it, but if a project struggles to get private investors what then will be the fate of the project during the public sale, let alone its long term success.
Lastly, since you did not find the information you are looking for, it will be best to forget about it.

Don't trust anyone who invite you to invest in a new project because it is very prone to fraud, I often receive invitation to invest from people I don't know, they often send messages via Gmail but I ignore them.  Luckily you posted here so friends can provide answers for you.  Remember one more thing, do not carelessly open links sent by unknown people because they are prone to frequent Malware virus.

Who told you about this project if I may ask? A friend? You need to stay away from such people because they have no idea about good projects compared to scam projects, it's either your friend is intentionally luring you into a trap or he has zero knowledge about crypto, start learning yourself, go to coinmarketcap.com, top rated coins on CMC platform are more reliable

[Nope]No hype delivers more than hope
Obviously this exchange won't have any reviews as it's only 64 days old. If there is and positive, it only comes from the owner of this exchange

Interestingly, I read this on their site,
Quote
5 years experience in digital asset financial services
Professional distributed Architecture and Anti-DDOS attack system

Where have they been in the last 5 years until they just started the exchange? For @Op, do you have a referral code? I want to look inside

Never invest in projects that we don't know about, because the risk is very large. Then don't ever invest based on other people's
opinions, always do your own research on the coins you want to buy. If you have trouble finding information on these coins, it is
possible that the coins are not popular or a scam. My advice is to avoid investing in unpopular coins.

I have seen the JSTEX site, and it looks very unsecure, whether there are still a lot of BUGs there,
about icon and some other problems, I don't think JSTEX is a good project,
because this is an exchange platform they should build it with high security.

If the private sale is not going to be held in a big or reputable exchange don't go for it, and also check the status of the project if there are no bad reports, you posted that you have second thought investing follow your hunch, in investing, when in doubt don't proceed.

I think it's a scam exchange, I can't find a single information about the team and there is no information about the exchanges reviews, it shows that no one have used this exchange before so there is no way to rate it, your coins can get stuck once you make a deposit on the exchange, stay away

I have never heard of this project and it seems its not a serious one to check out. There is a decision in your words which you can make. There is no pointer to this project that makes it good. Just leave it.

You did well by coming on here to ask people about this project before taking a decision, if all newbies are like you only very few will fall victim to scam projects, my answer is I've never heard about this project before and it's probably a scam, if you have to invest in an altcoin make sure it's a popular project.

I tried searching what information we can get about this JSTB but there is no website regarding it.   JSTB I think it's the native token of this unknown exchange. It's crazy the exchange is using gmail for their support. But we can find JSTB/USDT on https://www.iedgex.com/#/dealCenter which actually impressive.

Nonetheless, it's going to turn scam once the price is right for the scam to reveal itself.

Better do thorough research before getting involved in a private coin sale, if you don't see any information about it on the open it means people don't know about it, so it is best you find out more, it could be you are walking into a trap, don't lose money to scanners.

If you are in doubt, Just avoid it. Obviously it's a scam. A legit project launch IEO on a reputable exchange because the exchange reflects there own reputation. Is the person gave you the information is your friend or just a random telegram guy that loves to create hype and always about something that you can have profit. Creating is a good move for you since you are in doubt. Always DYOR before you enter on any investment.

I put in my bitcoin wallet address and sent myself 15 BTC from my 0 balance.
It said success after I pressed send, but of course I received nothing.
Where is the 15btc came from? You withdrawn a Bitcoin in your account from the exchange you mentioned?
What Bitcoin wallet are you using?
I checked the exchange you mentioned, it's kinda suspicious, it's not mobile responsive.
It's pretty good you asked first here before you deposit your Bitcoin.

Just don't. Your suspicion is enough to make you think more than twice about investing to this project that has a big chance becoming an exit scam. You are talking about real money here and if you don't even understand what you're investing to why bother buying the coin.
Even coin sale that aren't as shady as this have big chance of failing then this kind of coin that comes out of nowhere and none of us even know that this exist will definitely have bigger chance of failing. Heck, even the website as you said are poorly made and there's no office address, nothing. just don't expect too much.

No, I am not trying to advertise or anything.

I was contacted in a chat app.  We talked about other things too.
They told me that had invested 16btc into it.  I was just trying to find more information than what they had told me.  My searches came up with nothing either.

There is no information about this exchange on Coinmarketcap and Coingecko, so there is a very high probability that the exchange is a scam site, do not believe in private sale through invite, developers should be transparent and must not hide anything, do check about their project and check if the developers are real people and their platform is unique.
