Glad this story ended well...the Forum can be fortunate that a lousy thief grabbed these coins. If you sell them shot me message. Happy to help covering the damage🤗

This post made my day! I’m so happy for you mojo to get some closure on this, and I have mad respect for you for being concerned about diluting the market. But I still think the coins are piece of history and maybe you should slowly drip them out, but you’re the creator it’s totally up to you. I’ll be willing  to buy some😂 lol. Again congrats bro you Rock !!

Wow and you can't make this shit up either!  It sucks, but I'm glad to hear you were able to recover most and get "closure" in that you were able to confirm what happened and report this to the postal authorities.  It's a damn shame it has come to this, but it's also the main reason why at times I use insured or registered mail- more so as a theft deterrent because I figure such a thief wouldn't want the investigation that would follow.

I was planning or releasing my series 2 coins this coming week, but more than half of the mint was stolen in route to the distributor. The distributor is someone I trust, and is not to blame at all in any way. Coins with serial numbers 002-104 and 121-128 were shipped and the two boxes arrived empty and sealed back up. My guess is someone at the usps distribution center heard the sound of coins looked into the package seen the btc logo on the coins and thought he hit the jackpot than stole the contents and sealed them back up. It hurts bad right now, but I will bounce back. If you see these coins on ebay, or wherever they are stolen coins. They are not loaded thankfully but it still sucks. I have 80 or so sets left of series 2 coins I have to put together I still plan on releasing at some point. Anyway if anyone sees them for sale anywhere let me know. I have not sold a single coin to anyone so if you see one its stolen

I have an update on these coins....So a few weeks ago I had a newbie account message me asking about coins which is not that unusual. I asked which coins are you looking for? he responded with series 2 coins and asked to chat via email. I agreed and started to chat with him he says I have a bunch of these and shows me a pic of a series 2 coin, and asks me how much is an unfunded coin worth?. I looked up the serial number and long behold it was one of the stolen coins. I asked where did you get them he says a storage locker. His email name had his real name attached to it so I did a few google searches..... turns out he is a postal worker. Anyway long story short I convinced him to ship them to me since I knew his identity and he knew he was screwed. He has been reported to the postal authorities along with all the evidence I have. I received a box with probably 3/4 of the missing coins. I need to go through them all to catalog whats still missing and update the address lists for them. I am not going to sell these as is! some were peeled and I don't want to dilute the value of the existing coins people bought previously so I will peel them all and reholo them with new holos at some point and sell them as DIY or Buyer funded. I never thought I would see them again two yrs went by so it was pretty crazy how this all unfolded, and even crazier this guy stole from me then had the nerve to try and use me as a price guide Huh Anyway I will update the address lists in a few weeks when I have time to catalog it all. I am happy they were found, but it is horrible to know postal workers are opening and stealing our packages. I hope others are lucky enough to get back their missing items someday, but they are obviously doing a terrible job at investigating crimes

Hate to hear this mojo, I think you are right however as Ive had the same happen before with USPS if they was a possibility they could hear the coins. In my case it was tokens so they got a much less value. The recipient got an empty box after two months..  I've started going to FedEx and sound proofing what's being shipped.  Hope they turn up for you !

if you have an idea of what happened - why would you accept the loss??? nail the fucker that is responsible - you are talking what? 100 sets? something like 200 to 250 per set? You are talking easily 20k USD

I would not just accept that, if it was me.

I hope the USPS can shed some light on where/when it went light and you get your coins back.
I should have phrased it better all I can do is hope for the best, and keep bugging usps to do their job with their investigation. I intend to do all I can to nail whoever is responsible, but it is out of my hands I only have access to limited info at this point I should get more info soon I hope. The stories I have read on reddit and other sites with similar stories as mine didn't end with their items being found most of the time, and that may be the case for me as well thats why I said I accept the loss. I hope for the best but expect the worst kinda thing it hurts like hell and has taken a toll on me over the past few days I just need to move on with my life I don't want to feel like crap anymore thinking about it constantly. If they turn up awesome if not at least I mentally prepared myself for it. If i hear anything I will definitely share it on here.
