If government shut down all exchanges, na Telegram na e traders go switch over to because currently p2p trade dey available for Telegram even though we know say their exchange rate dey cheap but by then we no go get option because na only them fit sure pass that time.

Telegram matter dey fear me because scammers full there, since when dey scam me I dey fear to accept any info wey I see for any group wey I no sabi, no say even for exchanges wey we dey use scammers dey too but the daily warning wey they dey give they guide us well, I just pray make we get better means way we go dey transact comfortably.

I believe say no be every trader for a platform go be scammer some legit ones go dey, so if you trade with any legit one and your p2p transaction goes well, na to save e phone number so that whenever you won do p2p trade, you go call am and trade with am to avoid meeting another scammer.
Legit go surely dey, the main thing be say how we go take recognise am na em be problem, but sha we wey dey forum e go dey easy for us because way sure for us but people outside forum go suffer am because most of them joined crypto new and dey no sabi any thing, especially during the airdrop of a thing at least e create more awareness for many people to know crypto.

I hear say back days those early crypto adopters for Naija get watsapp group wey them dey use for p2p trade but scam still dey that one too. Infact nothing wey scammers no dey involve as long as na money issue. So no think too much wait till that time come and we go cross the bridge make you no go dey over think for something wey fit no come to pass.
I been dey hear say what'sup group dey but I never come across am before but if e happen way most dey, groups will start coming up, but during the period we go need to be careful because even the bad ones will show up too.

This kind of thing for be problem back in the day but I sure say e no go be very big problem right now because everything except you can do on a CEX except for P2p is available in decentralized applications. For spot, you can use DEXes and for perpetuals, there are a couple of good ones currently like HyperLiquid and others. Back then, we didn't have any of the innovations we have right now and as such, we won't feel the impact too much and I strongly doubt that all exchanges will follow the path that OKX has taken to completely discontinue services for Nigerian folks.

OP I will say you shouldn't be this fast to judge, my people say when a door is been closed another is be opened so as of all this exchanges wey dey close there p2p na him be say another option most dey, I gust the government are trying very thing in their powers to stop crypto transactions in Nigeria but God pass them.

Telegram p2p no be something were person fit put him mind ohh for now because smammers where full that app no be small, every day by days people are constantly complaining of be scammed through that app, about the newbie who are airdroping I gust when dey want to make any transaction their should better go do little research and learn about what to in other not to get scammed.

But then, what about our naija people out there? Especially those new ones wey don rush go dey buy crypto because of all these small small airdrop wey just full every where. Dem fit no get idea on how to convert Dem money and come dey panic any how. I dey here say telegram get p2p. But then how do we trust those merchant wey dey there?
This is the right question to ask. In my small crypto circle of friends, we have discussed this. There is always a "What-if". And we cannot act as if that is probability of the "what-ifs" becoming a reality is not significant. Tomorrow, ByBit could exit the country. In my own estimation, the country, I mean the people have become crypto conscious thanks to the likes of tapswap. If things go south like they tend to do, whoever introduce you come crypto na him go show you road how to take convert am if na one the person one do. Many methods dey to take do am. And if nobody carry the new person come, well the way way him take research to enter, him go still use am do him research on wetin to do next.

Well as Una see d question for the title, I don dey ask myself dis question for a long time now. That time when binance first do Dem own, e no really matter as we still get many other options wey full ground to use run p2p. But now just few na e remain (bybit) Huh Sha dis one no supposed be something wey we as forum members go fear like that as normal normal, update go drop for here. But then, what about our naija people out there? Especially those new ones wey don rush go dey buy crypto because of all these small small airdrop wey just full every where. Don't worry about Nigerians because we always find a way out of every challenge more especially those related to the Internet so even if all exchanges delist the naira from their p2p platform, most Nigerians can decide to convert their assets to other countries currency and still exchange it in banks with the Naira so Nigerians don grow pass threats and moreover as the Nigerian government clamped down some exchanges from performing p2p transactions for Nigerians, didn't they move over to other exchange platforms? We have passed that time when government decisions affects everyone in the country because with how technology has made things so easy for mankind now, everything looks possible even when others feels there's no possibility. Nigerians will always find an escape root in any situation they find themselves.

Telegram p2p platform is not to be trusted because security of one's assets is not too guaranteed and moreover, scammers uses telegram to scam people and defraud them of their assets so I don't like the idea of using telegram p2p platform to make exchanges to naira.

Communication matters a lot i this case and also don't forget that information spreads out easily. One thing ah done know about naija be say if something happen before you wake up almost everybody for the world done know about am. So if something like wetin you talk happen. Then people likeus wey get solution go help others wey need am and before you know more people go done need our help and we fit teach more people wey go help others as well. I just believe say solution go they when e come that time. I fit remember how many persons wey i trade when Notcoin pay. Even if i was not a partaker of the airdrop i had a lot of Notcoin i trade on my exchange.

Learning never stops!
As Bybit never delist Naira from their platform, i believe say dem no go delist am, maybe they have found a way to cooperate with our government, wey we no know. ,
I'm not sure although they seem to be calm but I think government is tackling them one by one just let's see their next move...
The elimination of the third party might not be very perfect but there's always a choice, the centralised exchange are playing important role as third party to secure funds between buyers and sellers  which will make it not easy for any party to scam each other but without them finding a trusted vendor which you know will be better and not just a random vendor who will still likely to scam you on a huge transaction.

Though even if our government manages to force every centralized exchange to delist Naira from their platform, then we no get any choice but to fall back to local vendors, remember say before Binance p2p come dey popular for Naija, na local vendors wey plenty people been dey use, but e dey more risky anyway.

There are Non-kyc exchanges and local vendors around us that we can use and about the newbies in the crypto space joining through airdrop, this is just how many of us came to the crypto space but as times goes by, if they're ready to Learn then they will just be able to remain and grow in the crypto space and this time knowing the truth is much easier than our time, there are many others sharing the truth about the crypto space online and even in the social media this positive growth is now coming up.

I will avoid anything that will make me have any financial contacts with Telegram, that's a den of scammers.

Actually about this I won't consider p2p with strangers, if not for CEX p2p, I will rather use local vendors I'm aware of or I can track because someone might just be legit but when they you're doing a big transaction with them, greed might just engulfed them and they will run with your money since they know you can't trace them.
