Hello and thanks for looking.  I migrated my account from Waves DEX to Waves.exchange, however, I had a certain amount of Waves leased on DEX.  Is there a way for me to cancel the lease in Waves.Exchange?  I am not seeing an option for this and the transactions do not seem to go so far as to see the least start.  I can see my full balance where it says X Waves available, X Waves leased.  Any help/suggestions are much appreciated.

Best

Hi Elated. Please, make sure you're doing all in accordance with this step by step instruction - https://docs.wavesplatform.com/en/waves-client/account-management/waves-leasing.html

Sincerely, Waves Community Manager

Thank you for the reply.  Turns out that I had to increase the number of transactions (history).  I could then see my (pretty) old lease and was able to cancel.  Thanks again.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.15414923
The mentioned wallets are empty.

A wallet was mentioned with 2500btc: 3BPrbYMyzgb6BZHHKFrsETBwtYzLqoXcgr

Twiggy Smile promised back in the days full transparency, last AMA was mentioned due to taxation in Russia they cant disclose.
Dont forget all forks and the sell of Vostok btw.

That information is not publically available and it most likely it won't be available in near future. There's a BTC address in which ICO funds were, If someone can do chain analysis then there might be some estimates or Waves CEO should disclose it..

i'm also curious to know how much is left but how much had it grown if they trade it.

30K BTC was raise, we all been here during that time when our waves kept decreasing as more are investing. its definitely hard to see project get that much btc form investors. WAVES is one of the luckiest project ever supported but looking into its development and price seem like sasha did nothing but enjoys the travel everywhere.

i'm not updated but was vostok distributed already?

Hello, electronicash.

The distribution was done for all verified addresses, and goes on for those who participated but not verified yet.
If your account is among non-verified, you can still do it via two ways:
1) Authorize with Waves Keeper or
2) Send 0.0001 WAVES to a special address 3PBNiHBcp8rxiYkGVGNHEGZHEamb1aXeWVv
More details and ability to check your average $WEST balance here https://vostok.wavesplatform.com

Also, taking into account the fact that the $VST token has become the system token of the Waves Enterprise network, the decision to set $WEST ticker symbol  (Waves Enterprise System Token) has been taken to avoid confusion during operations with the token

When using BTC gateway to make deposits on waves wallet is there the possibility to use not-segwit addresses?
Hello. There's no such a possibility in case your previous BTC deposit address hasn't been saved.

Sincerely,
Waves Community Manager

What do you mean by saved? Does it mean if I've my public BTC address still available somewhere in my previous transactions history?
Old legacy addresses are still valid, but there's no opportunity to see them anymore despite the case it's been saved by you elsewhere

I see, perfect thanks.
Just last quick one : how long the legacy addresses are planned to be still valid and working?
We don't have plans to shut them down in the nearest future, and will definitely announce it separately when they will become invalid

Waves got ranked as one of the top coins to watch for this week!

LOL! Watch to what ? Watching it going down even more ? Because I don't see any good things happening to waves anytime soon. Do you know that Waves is one of the coins that goes down in both scenarios of Bitcoin going up and down ? So if Bitcoin goes to 20k$ right now , waves would be 10 cents and if Bitcoin goes down to 4k$ , waves will still be 10 cents so what are we talking here ? That is a paid article most likely ... . We need good marketing ideas in order to re-gather the investors confidence . Also we're one of the few coins that are going down since dec 2017 reaching all time low in satoshi....pure facts.

The community loves Waves and some of us are here since inception of it.

I once bet 100 Bitcoins on a 1:2 chance and lost.
Hi there.  But when you say old version of my client, is it the one im using now?  Its called wave dex at the top left when you open it up.  This is the waves desktop client i downloaded a while back.

So i type my waves client password into this screen and then sign in?  I want to be sure we are talking about the same screen here?

Because there is only 2 waves wallet right?  One is the wavesliteclient with google chrome and the waves desktop client?  I also know there is that waveskeeper as well but i never used or installed that.

There are two old clients (Waveslite, Waves DEX) and the new client, Waves.exchange. You can migrate to the new one by logging into Waves Dex and following the instructions. This official way does NOT require you to enter any seeds/word phrases. Once the migration is done, you are ready to go with the new Waves.exchange Wallet.
