Such sentences come about if you do not read carefully or have no idea at all. Waves Keeper makes using Waves easier in many ways. And to participate in the second phase of airdrop no Waves Keeper is necessary. You can also just make a transaction from your normal Waves Wallet.
They talking negative about Waves because of price is cheap, I believe Waves price will explode to +100$ someday and they will back to this thread crying for not buying Waves when it was very cheap.

Waves Keeper is like MetaMask for ethereum, some people like to make simple things very complicated.

So because i already have a waves wallet, i have to put in the 15 word seed.
Then put a new password to it.
So whenever i log into it, i still need to log into to it similar to like my waves desktop wallet where i have to put in the password right?
What confuses me is if i want to use the waves desktop client which i like, then i have to log into it with my old password. But with the waves keeper, the new one?

You can use Waves Keeper with web version of our client only. You don't need always use Waves Keeper, it's just the available option. And there are no new and old passwords. There are password for Waves Keeper and password for your account (for a certain browser).

Hello Denreal! There is only one way to restore access to your account, you have to use your seed-phase. Regarding suspicious tokens, I strongly recommend you to study in details every token you want to trade (read description and make your own research via mass medias) or use our forum (https://forum.wavesplatform.com/) for such purpose. WavesPlatform is DEX and anyone can create a token and make airdrop via mass transfer feature. You always have choices (explore and trade, burn or hide). There's no way to recover it without the seed. That's why they have a note when you create a new wallet that you should save your seed in a safe place because it's the only way to recover. I took a look at it.

Then it ask for a new password. I put this in. Then when i do this, i go to that site to authenticate waves keeper and thats all right to get airdrop?
Now what about when i turn on my laptop? Could i access my waves keeper wallet without logging in the password? I assume no right? Thus i have to always enter a password to log in or not? If not, wouldn't that be insecure in that its like leaving your waves wallet out in the open if you just turn on your laptop?

Absolutely correct. You need to enter your seed phrase only once. But have to enter your password every time to switch on your Waves Keeper extention. And once again, it's not wallet. It's extension that lets you to hold your WAVES keys securely while interacting safely with third-party web resources.

Hi there. So you are saying waves keeper allows you to send waves without entering a password? Say your computer is on. You can just send waves from the waves keeper? If so, doesn't that make it less secure? Because if your computer is not on, you still have to open waves desktop wallet and then put in the password to log into your waves account.

You need to create a new password especially for Waves Keeper. And it doesn't make operations less secure. SEEDs and private keys are encrypted and stored within the extension and cannot be accessed by the dApps and services on the web, giving you peace of mind that your funds are always safe from hackers and malicious sites. Completing a transaction doesn’t require entering any sensitive information.
