It is quite hard to tell about smart contracts before the release in comparative terms now. But the team is definitely working on that issue, as one of the main aims of smart contracts is to provide secure and trusted services to our users on the platform.

Can waves smart contracts be more safe than Ethereum? I hate platform fork to CLASSIC

An excellent project, which already shows its willingness to work in the market. Sasha Ivanov showed a really working product. Good luck to him and his team! I hope that in the future the ecosystem will be pleased with its functionality and its investors!

I own Waves since beginning of 2017 and really believe on the long term potential of this project.

What can we do with the "leasing" feature on the WAVES computer based wallet?

Ethereum has a circulating supply that is approx. the same as WAVES.  WAVES needs to get more projects using it's platform in order for the price to come up.

Waves's 100 million supply can't be changed, it's fixed right from the ICO. why do you think it's value can't increase with only 100 million waves in supply? there are some alts with billions of total supply yet they're valued so much.

Waves allows you to hold and transfer external currencies on its blockchain. This works through an established centralised Coinomat gateway: Bitcoins or any supported external coins are sent to a user's personal Waves address via standard transfer and after the deposit user receives BTC/ETH* tokens (wBTC/wETH*) on the Waves blockchain. Every single wBCT/wETH* tokens is backed 1:1 with a real BTC/ETH*. After creating withdrawal request, Bitcoins or any other supported external coins are transferred to the gateway side as wBTC (Waves BTC) tokens, then gateway processing them and finally sending as external BTC transaction, i.e. wBTC > Bitcoin gateway > BTC. For deposits, the process is repeating but in the opposite direction BTC > Bitcoin gateway > wBTC asset. You will receive coins to specified address, deposits and withdrawals may takes up to 120 minutes.

I am an original investor in Waves.. I will get 3% airdrop in the same way as anyone who purchased waves today  .  Yes this is a money grab by Sasha (and team), but it is the same shit all across crypto; token owners dont own anything except for the benefits of price speculation.  

waves investers made it possible to build the waves platform.. now that platform is used for a different use case but investers won't benefit from it, don't you agree that that feels wrong?

Nothing progressive about using ordinary investors money to create technology that's then handed to wealthy people in a new project. All starting to reek of an endless money grab for him and his rich mates!

Yes, but does a fancy website or a made up team make it more trusted? There are loads of scam coins around with vague promises but with only reason, to steal money from investors. I started this crowdfunding just so that everyone can invest in VST, simple and clear.

I cannot give anything more than my word and you can decide for your own if you want to invest and with what amount.

I think Waves is  completely undervalued comparing with ethereum. Sasha Ivanov is very progressive man. Waves have a great future. More and more projects will launch ICO on the Waves`s blockchain

I read that Vostok is going to use Waves TECHNOLOGY, NOT the Waves platform itself, meaning there's nothing stopping Vostok from morphing into and open and closed version of itself, making Waves redundant. Doesn't mean it's going to happen, but why did Sasha keep quiet about his new project when it affects existing Waves holders? What else will he keep quiet about until the last moment? Seems only wealthy individuals can invest in Vostok. That also stinks, given they'll profit (if the project is successful) from technology Waves investors funded.

That kind of operation require a trusted escrow.
