I heard of this crazy drop in the value of waves. I sincerely don't know what must have necessitated such an aggressive decline, but I congratulate those that were able to pack the coin at that value. This leaves me with an idea to always set ridiculous low prices on some altcoin, we never can tell when next coincidence like this would repeat itself.
yes, i see the charts on binance, and this is happend about few hours ago
but, i set up a buy order on binance a little bit lower,
i always think others crypto can be like this too,, my friend
so, i always set a low buy order with few amount bitcoin, because crypto is unpredictable
Yes, I also noticed this, probably someone very successfully invested, because I do not think that there was such a large amount of Waves that would really hit prices in such great opportunities. I think that there is something there.
i think it's just a glitch, order at that low probably weren't filled. it would be best to ask in binance chat or their support, they will have an answer.

Lol why you keep saying that when those have said about that since 2017 never appear again in this forum. I heard that in so many times and it doesn't. Waves is a speculation coin and no more. A lot of new platforms even surpassed waves. waves has no chance to compete with ether.

The question is how many buyers where able to buy at that price? I ha4dly doubt there was a serious sale in that ridiculous amount i just saw above, i mean how was that even possible, someone mistakenly sold for that amount or what, whales must be at work no doubt
although i wish i was able to be among the lucky one's to buy at that price

I do not know what the future holds for waves but at it stands, it poses less confident for me as I would not be looking its way for investment having had a very hard time last year and never had any significant rally like many others. Again the waves trading and development platform is not equally improving. So far the attention has shifted to EOS, NEO and possibly Xlm.
Waves is a good project and i have seen fights where people claiming that waves will be bigger than eth and even btc but then we see nothing but struggle for waves. I have been holding some waves from like 2 plus years but im now thinking to move to eth or btc because waves has not grown according to expectations.
when someone dumps his coin, it usually drops it looks normal to me. if you have to look on some other else there is Enigma token which also happen to be dumped lately. waves is a good investment but then there are also whales in this token just like any coin.

Right, sometimes this may happened. I have faced this situation few times and when i wanted to buy and open the trading pair, i haven't found that low price. I don't know why this unexpected situation happened.
or it could be because people wanna buy more of this waves for vostok tokens now they want holders to also dump so they could buy.

Right, sometimes this may happened. I have faced this situation few times and when i wanted to buy and open the trading pair, i haven't found that low price. I don't know why this unexpected situation happened.
It looks like someone was just dumping his coins at the lowest possible price, since no other exchange were affected and the price immediately jumped back.
Might also have been a faulty bot that has filled the orderbook of various coins... who knows!
So actually this isn't a real flash crash nor does it represent the correct price.
Regarding technology, WAVES may compete with ETH. As for now, ETH seems to have way more supporters in the community, so i am pretty sure ETH will remain the #1 platform.

No doubt that market is not favorable to such altcoins including WAVES, but I can say, in 2018, I made a profit with it using scalping and not a long term trading. With the further increase of bitcoin, we can expect that it can drive altcoins including WAVES as there is no things to worry about, for now.

Bitcoin is driven by some really vehement bullish spirit right now but when u look at the altcoins - some show the worst performance ever recorded since the beginning of 2018. Namely WAVES, XMR, ETC, IOTA. WAVES just got smashed down to 0.0000001 btc on Binance exchange. This behavior is in strong resonance with what I expected to see in this space this year. What is happening?
