Bittrex Done! Now waiting for news from Poloniex.

you will wait for a long time!!!

Probably POLO has very long audit before adding new coin on it...
Definitely polo will add after bittrex is up for trading with waves, bittrex just want to make profit early on the charges for trading. I think the price will be low with bittrex, but who knows this is crypto so let us just pray it will be over ICO.

How many Waves do you have and how much for them?

I will buy them if you leave this thread and/or shut the fuck up with your bullshit, I doubt you have any significant amount (probably just the free ones )

the longest 10hrs whew!

Gtfo lamer

Yesterday, I imported my ICO account to the Chrome Client and waited for my Waves to come in. They did a couple of hours later. So far so good.

Today I noticed that the funds have been sent elswewhere. And the balance is now showing up again in my ICO account. What has happened here?

(1) Was I hacekd and my funds stolen?
(2) Or were the funds sent back to the ICO account for whatever reason?

If (2) is correct: Why was that the case? And when will the funds go back to my client address?
For me the address that is shown on the ICO account is the one have to login with in the lite client
They both show the same amount of Waves.
Is the address in your wallet the same as the one in the ICO account?

Yes, addresses are the same. I see an outgoing payment from today, though, and the balance in the vlient is now zero. The ICO page shows a "balance". But as I now understand it is not my balance but rather the initial amount of waves received.

So I got hacked and the funds were stolen. I had a bad feeling about using a chrome client in the first place. Should have listened to that feeling. Lesson learned.
this seems like a pretty serious issue.
you should post the transaction info so some super sleuths maybe can help
since its not on an exchange yet maybe easier to trace
how do think it happened?

It happened by
(1) me being stupid
(2) me being even more stupid
(3) me being under stress becuase of hundred other tasks to do
(4) the lite client not giving any information on how the ICO import works (that could have saved me -- but, of course, I am responsible for my own error).

So here is what I did:
Trying to import my ICO I found this button "generate seed". I thought this meant something like "generate new wallet". But I wanted to import my already existing ICO account. So what did I do? I pasted the waves address in the box and generated my address, because I thought at that moment it would be my private unique address. Needless to say that this address is very much public information. In short: I just did not understand in that particular moment that "Seed=privatekey=ultimate password overriding everysthing elese" but isntead thought some ICO information from me is needed.

--> The whole issue is not a problem for waves security but only for my sanity.

Then you suck

Yea because it is not enough that he made a very human mistake and you gotta tell him how "he suck". You must feel proud. You garbage piece of ****.

it's well worth it. Waves has a lot of potential. The first week price on the exchanges means nothing.

I am so sorry for your loss, maybe you can contact someone now on WAVES Slack to see if they can trace the hacked funds and confiscate them form the hacker?

Bittrex made an official announcement on Twitter.

i replied to it  https://twitter.com/vintagebazaarOB/status/743347288433557505

Works out 7pm European Time.  Have to let the American Dumpers get breakfast, nice shower and prepare them-self for unloading, before us Europeans can pick up the scraps.

So this is GMT PLUS 2 correct? I hope Bittrex doesn't get dossed or anything like that or jammed with everyone trying to upload their WAVES.
