Oh Dear! When I created my wallet the message begging me, no compelling me to save my seed securely and back it up or write it down made the Nostromo autodestruct warning on Alien look wimpy.

That is the best idea. The last 200 pages or so are really horrible. Nobody looking for an up-to-date info is able to see through millions of useless posts.How hard is it to browse to their twitter or facebook page - you don't even have to login or register to get the info.

There is finite 100m WAVES no more will be generated it's finite amount so there is no inflation.
