Yesterday, I imported my ICO account to the Chrome Client and waited for my Waves to come in. They did a couple of hours later. So far so good.

Today I noticed that the funds have been sent elswewhere. And the balance is now showing up again in my ICO account. What has happened here?

(1) Was I hacekd and my funds stolen?
(2) Or were the funds sent back to the ICO account for whatever reason?

If (2) is correct: Why was that the case? And when will the funds go back to my client address?
For me the address that is shown on the ICO account is the one have to login with in the lite client
They both show the same amount of Waves.
Is the address in your wallet the same as the one in the ICO account?

Yes, addresses are the same. I see an outgoing payment from today, though, and the balance in the vlient is now zero. The ICO page shows a "balance". But as I now understand it is not my balance but rather the initial amount of waves received.

So I got hacked and the funds were stolen. I had a bad feeling about using a chrome client in the first place. Should have listened to that feeling. Lesson learned.

This just seems like poor planning. A missed 14th deadline that should have been provided to exchanges pre the 14th in time for the actual release. No press or updates from the Dev team on a failed exchange listing timeline is troubling no matter how you look at it. Saying it's all on the exchanges is a pretty lame excuse, devs failed to properly plan for their own timelines.

14th deadline was a "ready to launch on exchanges" date, not a "trading start" date.

Only pump&dumpers and "get rich quick scheme" can't wait one or two more days before trading Waves.
I prefer a better and secure Waves platform than a launched-as-fast-as-possible platform.
Real Waves believer can wait and are here for a long term, we don't care about the delay because we don't care about all that bulk of dumpers at launch as fast as possible who didn't understand the real potential of Waves Wink

They already added an additional 2 weeks to their first 'launch' date.

Only a moron would be happy to lose access to their bitcoins even longer.

Lose access to their bitcoins ?? Sorry, I thought they bought Waves, not bitcoin  Wink
ICO price is still the same, the project is still the same, the potential is still the same, and the project still moving on.

What is the problem ? Are you new here ? Did you not know that most of ICO have delay at launch ?
Everybody should know when they are investing into a ICO, it can have a delay, they can loose money and they take a risk !
I'm sorry for you if you don't know how investing into something works and what can happens during and after the ICO.
This is how works investment in the crypto world, same for stocks market, same for crowfunding, etc... You should deal with it.

This is so ridiculous all that cryings about this small delay, Waves team should be sorry for the delay for making you rich

Either you are educationally challenged or are just being an ass-hole.

We’ll start processing withdrawals on Friday. By next week we hope that most people will have their coins withdrawn and we’ll be more focused on full node development and launch at exchanges.

We tread lightly but steadily forward Smiley Network stability is the major objective so we absolutely need to get it right.

Where, and when did the devs say that Exchanges would open markets on 14th?

So you got a waves to the address which you have saved in your ICO account?

History of Balance on ICO page will be saved, it's your transaction history.

Arguing over if June 14th meant code release or actually on exchanges is pointless. Nothing can be changed, let's focus on next steps.

The ICO account doesn't show balance but amount you got and it will show as it is there
If your Webclient shows a transfer then it's probably hacked

Thanks for the quick reply. Just to make sure: The line "balance XXX Waves" on the ICO page does not indicate a balance but the amount I received initially and that is now not available anymore. Correct?

Why the Waves team should care of you seriously ? You didn't support the project at all by acting like that.
I'm happy you can't handle with that delay  Grin

I dont understand why there is no update or any news?
seems a bit unprofessional.

What updates do you need? Exchanges will announce by themselves when they are ready. Now they have a full nodes and instructions.

so does anyone know any exchanges that will add waves then? Personally I am gonna sell 10k of my 45k as quite frankly I have over done it on ico's lately lol Im officially broke ... well waiting for the right time to sell if you know what I mean Smiley

Waves and lisk are the future man. DAYM it feels good to be alive

If you've got 45k waves lying about then you must be doing alright to start with.  What's that,  12 btc or something?  That's a crazy amount for me to invest in anything.  Even if i had it i would be too worried to put that much into 1 ico.  Good luck to you.

no risk no fun

Well i did the same amount in Lisk Smiley and in DAO. and half that in peerplay. Just waiting for 1 of them to pay lol. DAO is good for hedging though.
