Well maybe. Sasha just wrote on Slack that users have pretty crappy seeds that they have assigned themselves. A half decent script-kiddie could just run a dictionary attack and scoop up a bunch of free waves, as the users apparently don't understand what they are doing. Imagine what this thread will look like when many users find out that all their invested ICO Wave tokens are gone with the wind because of having something like "mary had a little lamb" or their ico deposit address as their seed.
How can sasha or anyone else know what seed do I have? Our seeds are visible for dev team? Is this a joke or something?
Was the seed not auto generated?
I think you had the option to assign your own seed if you wanted to.
But it's not the point. It doesn't matter if seed is auto or non-auto. I'm asking why dev team can possibly view my seed? This is ridiculous for me.
