did any exchange sell IOUs for Ethereum launch?   if so,  are the buyers ahead by now?

it went up to $3,5 and $2 was the max price in the first two weeks.

Remember that Bittrex had Ethereum IOU.

Was a bargain lol.

So you are saying that the people that bought the Ethereum IOU for $2 made a terrible investment? "looks at Ethereum price" ok..

Best way to deal with Yobit is to blacklist their Waves ICO account and prevent them from withdrawing from the light wallet  Cool
Not right at all. this is the world of crypto currency to free us from the central power. Yobit doesn't force anyone of us to go there. Whoever does is doing it through his/her free will.

Idiot suggestion that would kill the project. Good idea!

Bittrex hosted Ethercoin. While the price was way higher than Eth for the first few months after launch, Eth caught up and surpassed Ethercoin's price. People laugh now, but maybe someday current Waves Yobit buyers could turn a profit.

The fact that Yobit, Kraken, Gatecoin etc. sell IOU's before launch of new ICO projects isn't really news. No idea why this warrants any attention.

exactly. its not new, not the first time, not the first token, not the first exchange doing that, neither something special or scary, or fishy, or worth mentioning, nor something to warn from, or scamy or whatever fill here in, nor something important, or a thing the waves team have to care about.

lets go for the important stuff:

where is the lite client? are we late? will there will delays? are we still heading for the 14th start trading

When it's available that is! ha ha

I don't know if you're serious but that wouldn't be right or fair at all.

I was only messing! Really though Yobit hasn't actually done anything wrong have they? Maybe morally but that's about it!

noone is getting rich selling the IOUs -  347BTC  total volume on that screenshot

in fact,  the only way they can sell the IOUs is for an exhorbitant amount,  they are in effect shorting so need a huge cushion in case Waves does defy the odds and open so high  (almost no chance,  but you remember the movie Dumb & Dumber?)
