Am I the only one who doesn't understand the logic?  Huh

The total number of waves tokens are fixed, and that number is divided between the ICO participants. If it gets more participants you'll get less waves, but also it means ICO earned more, and waves has become more reputable and the dev team gets more money to work on waves and improve it. The final price will not be less than the ICO price, so what does it matter how many tokens you get? If you're supposed to make, say, 2x profit, it can be 1000 of your 10K satoshi ICO waves tokens selling for 20K, or 500 of your 20K satoshi tokens selling for 40K.

whats the total of coins you have ?? the speed that people are investing this last days are taking alot of coins i think you just have to take a 15% of what you have and that will be the total of coins you gonna end up having by the end of the ICO i already lost a 10% percent in 30 hours and counting  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes optimistic huh??  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Just relax, every time your total Waves go down the value of each individual Wave increases.

+1
Financial Logic is hard for some people to grasp.

Edit:No Offense Intended, If you expected this ICO to make less than 15,000 BTC you were living in a dream the ENTIRE time.

Lessons learned from Lisk:

- Have clusters for the web wallet. Assume it will be attacked.
- Have a windows wallet ready.
- Have a docker image available with directions that work.
- Have great DDoS protection

What measures are you taking to have smooth launch? Sold half my Lisk, ready for Waves.

I'll say that again.
But not only have a Windows wallet, but rather have working and tested wallets for OSX, Windows, Linux. Additionally, please make sure that there are mirrors to host the software.
There was apparently a docker image, but the software was unavailable throughout the whole night. Tried to grab it this morning, still no go.

I do hope that the admins with Waves take notice of the problems that happened last night for the Lisk team, and we learn how to avoid the issues before they happen again.

Add use SSL everywhere.

Big problem that happened to lisk: We didn’t setup a proper anti-DDoS strategy with a specialised team.

My question is: are you setting up a proper anti-DDoS strategy with a special team?

This might be of interest for everyone:

1. What about twitter, facebook and e-mail bounty campaign? Whom to send all info about it? Is there any list of participants?
2. Is it necessary to participate in the ico to get waves bounty?

1. From  op: "The token distribution to supporters will take place after the end of ICO, WAVES support team will be contacting all participants and arranging
    the bonus transfer."

2. No.
And how they gonna contact me with twitter?)

Follow the Wavesplatform on twitter for now. My guess is once the ICO is over they will ask for help tweeting and retweeting, posting on Facebag etc to get the word out. As of now there isn't so much information regarding social media, but I recall reading that as long as you are following right now, you are good to go. More info will be published later after the ICO has ended.

makes so little sense to buy waves right now instead of after it launches imo. The price will drop so hard.

It's been discussed earlier in this thread that theres a limit for how big an ico can be before it starts becoming a bad thing, even in the long term.
