The fact that Waves has raised 4x what Lisk did in the first 24 hours is bamboozling.

I was expecting Waves to collect less btc than Lisk.

I think it is due to the fact that Waves is offering a much larger bonus compared to the first day bonus during Lisk's ICO (which amounted to 2-3% extra  on top of the first week bonus at the end).

Lisk gave 30% bonus

Where do you see that? I invested in that ICO and the bonus was 15% plus 100,000 LISK split among investors.

can I still get 20% more coins if I  join in the ICO now?   Is it still the first day of ICO now?

Everything right, but you miSSed one important point! waves will be traded after ICO on a unique market place and than after several weeks it will hit a exchange without any breath. What do you think will happen?
I think it will cost ten times lower, somewhere about... well, if it is 85 000 000 supply then maybe 0.00000123 sats... I'm asking myself why I just spent more than 1.3 bitcoins to buy some small decreasing sum of waves?
Explain me why I'm wrong! Cheesy

Honestly, no one's going to convince you to purchase. That ball's in your court. If you don't invest now, GREAT! More for us!

Remember, every financial decision is your own. What anyone chooses to do and what to invest in is a personal choice. Just know that this is going to be one of the largest ICO... ever. Either you join the hype and believe that you'll make a profit, hence investing now, or you don't! Simple as that really. I don't think anyone's on the fence about this. They're either in or out.

Isn't this awesome? A 20% bonus is HUGE. I think people who are expecting the price to be lower on opening day aren't factoring in this 20% bonus. I don't think opening day the price will be 20% lower if you know what I mean.

I cannot change my password for some reason.  Has there been any post about this.  There are way too many bullshit posts to try and sort through...  Please advise.  Thanks.

Haven't seen password issues in the last 50 pages. I'd recommend the basic things:

1) Ensure the password originally given is typed / copied /pasted properly
2) Clear browser cache
3) Try a different browser
4) Try a different PC

WAVES per account is stabilizing, which means the initial rush is dying down and that people are starting to see their WAVES in their account to reflect what they paid. Everyone's patience paid off! We could've blown up this forum with complaint after complaint. It goes to show how amazing the WAVES community is thus far by helping one another and being extremely patient.

Currently, the rate is about

54 WAVES / $1
540 WAVES / $10
5400 WAVES / $100
11, 750 WAVES / 0.5 BTC
23,500 WAVES / 1 BTC.

Now that we're getting back on track and things are become more smooth, let's all have a beer and drink to getting rich Smiley

How will you get rich, if everybody in the cryptoworld will be invested by the end of 49 Days  Grin lool,

one more question,  why decreases the number of my waves every hour ?  Tongue  lloOll .  Tongue

Sir, it'd be my pleasure to enlighten you. When WAVES hits an exchange the first day, the price will spike about 1000%, historically speaking about most coins that offer an ICO. Purchasing now will allow you to potentially 10x your initial purchase. I've never known anyone to LOSE money after exchanges hit. This isn't about the number of WAVES decreasing per hour because more people are puchasing. This is about obtaining the possible cheapest price before price spike and this sir, is most likely the time.

Ask yourself if you really think the price of WAVES now will be MORE than the first day spike and you'll easily know the answer.

Doesn't really matter what the price is now.
Considering 3600 BTC in 12 hours and the 50 days of ICO, when we already know for sure a big part will get in only in the last days, we could be looking at 50k BTC or more of total investment.
I would say thats A LOT.

you guys do realize all these post are due to the signature campaign ?

You can only gain 1 activity point per day, regardless of how much you post per day. Only 1 post per day will count for 1 activity point. So "all these posts" don't really amount to many points.
you dont get it mate, he said all posters here are chasing postcount to sig campaign not pitential rank.

Actually they're both correlated:

What is your current account rank?

Only member status and up with 50+ posts are allowed. so yes, your potential rank at BTC matters too. Hence why I posted, you can only gain 1 activity point per day, regardless of how much you post.

I've just a had a thought, Is it going to make a difference that I've deposited straight from an exchange?

I've read before that that shouldn't make any difference.

My deposit from my Trezor wallet came trough in 20 minutes. I have my Waves in my dashboard now. Smiley

I think it's better not to deposite from an exchange..
Can anyone from the Waves team can approve or disapprove deposite from exchanges?

Why would it matter?? You are given a destination address that is unique for each user. Does not matter from where the funds come. As long as they go into your unique payment address.

Anyone else deposit from an exchange? that doesnt sound good :/

I deposit from polo, still waiting after 8 hours. It seems they not come. I don't know what to do in such a case

You scroll up to the font green and red post and take 5 seconds to read.

I don't think the current estimated amount of coins is being calculated with the 20% bonus.
