I deposited money into my waves account in BTC. But when I try to place an order it says not sufficient funds available.
After deposit do I need to transfer these funds some other place to buy waves from google chrome app?

You don't have waves in your wallet, that's why. You need 0.001 to place an order.
I'm first time buyer then how come they can expect me to have waves to place an order?
It is something not correct either they should provide an option to pay the fee in other currencies or should reduce the fee amount from order placement. I didn't understand the logic to ask people to pay the fee in waves when they want to buy waves.
I sent an email to support team and waiting for their reply but if any other guys advice then it will help a lot.
If I read it correct in Slack, that will be changed in future releases. Right now Waves is the only token that can be used to pay fees for transactions.

If you received your BTC on your Waves wallet, you should be able to buy straight on the DEX.
Try to do it again minus a satoshi or so
I have a balance of 0.05BTC and trying to buy even 50 waves also it says not sufficient balance. Don't know what is happening and it is my first try with waves. Not sure any steps I'm missing or doing some things wrong. Tried many times and still getting same issue again and again.
Edit - it says asset balance 0.05BTC

Where can I find the waves wallet on windows and how can I save the file, also how safe is the browser wallet lite? are the coins in a server or hows it work?
The Litewallet is cross-platform as it use your browser.
It's safe if you keep your seed and password secret. The coins aren't on a server but bind to your seed.
You can't save any file as the Litewallet doesn't download the blockchain and as your wallet "is the seed".

Now I caught up why Waves is stopping over between 75k and 80 K satoshi for some time. It was due to some bugs and most of them are fixed already this is the spirit to complete the working product as soon as possible. Once the updates are out it is going to restart its journey towards 100k satoshi in few hours from now. Waves is rocking on.
running really smooth now, with most of the bugs gone too

Approximately how many WCT do you get per waves token during the distribution rounds?

The Lite Client is a wallet for desktop and has DEX etc build in.
For mobile you can use the mobile wallet in app store/playstore.
Simple to use, make sure you backup your seed etc.
