How am I eglible to receive such air drops?
Funny thing is people are moaning about all these random tokens...
People are moaning because there's no way to classify / sort them (yet) by some rules like "valuable now", "I like this", "I have no idea wtf is this" criteria.
I guess that they still have work to do on the wallet.
Thats exactly the reason to stash some WAVES now because there is still a lot of room for development and growth

What are these air drop tokens?
Some are tokens made by people for fun (that's the whole point of Waves... easy 1 click token creation)
Others are official waves tokens such as WCT. You may also find some Ripto Bux and WavesGo which all have value.

"Remember back in the days when someone spammed us all with those Exotic Car Club... yeah they where the days! Not many of them about as not many people had Waves accounts back then and most people dumped them"
Things that become worth a lot and collectible most often don't start off that way... often they start off as junk and not kept or looked after... that's why they become collectible!

Also, maybe the token creation could become more expensive, to avoid token creation spam and also give the created tokens some more power/background/value.

We will have spam control and filtering very soon. Possibly in the next update which looks like its going to be next week. The team are working on so much right now it's still early days lots of improvements to come over the next few months.
Thanks I love the idea of airdropped tokens especially those where everyone gets it, but there should be at least some purpose to them other than to spam/joke.

Free tokens. Some are valuable and some are just for fun. Take it as much as you like . It will eventually have a value.

When you "lease" your waves and get some kind o divident is your computer then performing calculations of transactions or do you get divident just for having waves.
You will receive air drops such as WCT and others just for holding Waves in your wallet.
You can also earn fees from leasing your waves right withing your wallet. (Your waves do not leave your control, you can cancel the lease at anytime and you will still receive air drop tokens as mentioned above)

I saw that list but I didn't get paid anything, that's weird. I lease my coins since May 5th. Today one week passed and got no payment. Is payment process manual in nodes? I don't really understand the process.
Payments are processed by the Node operators so your would have to contact them directly. Sign up to the Waves slack. Best place to get quest answers around this as node operators are on the Slack channel quite regularly.
