He knows this, their budget is 70K per month for everything dev related and office related etc, meaning they have sufficient funds for years, they will be expanding offices across the globe soon, the key is to get it all right first.

I have spoken to him today and he is working hard on big things behind the scenes but he has learned not to make announcements until they are finalized as in the case of Poloniex and Mycelium, let along the platform itself.

Big players have large sums invested in this project, these people are already successful because they understand what they are doing, however I do understand your frustrations, we all do.

The problem isn't quantity so much as quality with projects like this, some problems you can't fix by throwing money at it and who he has for this task is highly competent, it won't take long.

I wonder if anyone has noticed that the Waves logo is quite similar to the Jetsam logo in the computer game GTA 5?
Jetsam seems to be something like Maersk in the real world and the logo is ubiquitous in the game.
No idea if there might be any trademark rights issues, but Rockstar Game Studios has protected much of the game.

Wrong. HEAT has a decentralized exchange aswell. You can create an Asset for whichever currency you want to be the exchanger and BE an exchange yourself. Thats as decentraluzed as it gets!

Also in the bitshares platform and many others.

But none of them has same speed of executing orders as waves. So waves is the first, which is a real competitor to centralized Exchanges imo.
