So that means, Waves is supporting Smart Contract but no turing-complete smart contracts yet, right?

Is there an example tutorial how to use Waves' smart contract functionality? Could also be a programming tutorial.

I am looking for a good alternative to Ethereum. I am wondering if Waves good be the alternative.

Will the platform also support Dapp one day and is it basically an alternative to Ethereum? Thanks!

Last info is non-turing complete smartcontracts.
So, the answer is no, at least at the current moment.
Is this necessary to be the Turing complete to competitive with Ethereum's smart contracts?

Yes. For example, Bitcoin has non-turing complete smartcontracts (scripting).
But Sasha wants to make it very useful in opposite to bitcoin:
"we have a great roadmap for non-turing complete but very usable smart contracts".
I don't think this is bottleneck for current platform goals.

...
Happy to see that Ripto is finally here among us and I'm looking forward to his ANN thread. Go Ripto! You've come a long way and there's no telling the places you'll go.

Can you publish the link to ANN thread there when it come?
I can't understand what is Ripto Bux and what it's purpose.

There is no such video available as smart contract functionality is not yet available on Waves. It's being contemplated and planned for. But it's not here yet. I don't think we'll see it for at least several months if not longer from everything I've seen.

All Waves holders received 12.5k Mercury per addres by airdrop.
Mercury (MER) asset on Waves now trading on Cryptopia.

Free money you can now sell it here https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=MER_BTC

A simple calculation tells that 12.5k x 6 satoshi (the current price at cryptopia) is ~0.76$. Or ~2 WAVES Smiley
It doesn't worth the hassle. Better wait for a better price (if ever).

Market just opened. Just inform. Its 3x already. Wait sometime until people realise it.

These free tokens given to waves holders who have waves in thier wallet is REALLY COOL

I just had a full meal at Mcdonalds Restsurant after selling MECURY!!!!!!!

here comes another pizza guy right within couple of years =)

Free Speech is the most important thing.
come back to my investment actually moving forward. lets see where we go. any ideas?

If successful we will probably see something like ethereum. I expect $20 in a FOMO pump. Followed by a crash and a nice steady increase afterwards

you got me there now i hold until 20 and sell not a penny cheaper. i believe in you and your prediction and want that massive lump sum i now have in my head lol

Just keep in mind eth took about 1 1/2 to reach $20. The wait is worth it in my opinion

It certainly is worth it. I am a bagholding champion so holding for that long is nothing Cheesy See you on the world tour from our profits.

Has anyone suggested Nautilus (from Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea)yet?
Might as well propose Nautilex while i'm at it.

Still like GodEmperorTrumpEx, though.  Grin
