Are you talking about WAVES or some other ICO on WAVES? The WAVES ICO was over a year ago.
Also, Id be down to invest into this if they made it obvious how to actually contribute bitcoin into this

Almost instantly, about 1 min max.
1 token is about 2.50 euro/ 2.80 usd at this moment. All time high was about 7 usd.

Crazy thought I know but maybe stop relying on others for answers you can easily find on your own. Whitepaper links, wallet links, slack, website, etc are generally on PAGE 1 of any announcement thread.

Got a few questions right now. 1st thing, is there a subreddit for this coin? Secondly, how do I purchase these with ETH?
You can buy them for example on bittrex or shapeshift. Or you can create a WAVES address by using https://waveswallet.io, transfer the ETH to the wallet and buy the WAVES on DEX. If you choose the latter, you will need 0.003 WAVES to buy your WAVES, but of course you haven't got any WAVES at that moment
. To overcome that problem, you could use our Jump Starter Service.

Has anyone any idea how to actually backup these ERC20 tokens to a hardware wallet? I was told that it could be done with a Trezor, but maybe Im not understanding how it will actually back up our tokens? If someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
What are you talking about? You are confusing Eth and Waves tokens. Afaik there is no hardware wallet support yet for Waves tokens. I also want the same thing. It is Waves lite client or exchange.

does anyone seem to realize that all cryptos are down today, whats causing this bad news? did i miss a store or something, not sure why everything is crashing!
Waves is developing very good. The exchange is getting more trades day by day.
