Quick fact check. One of Waves Slack members is a dev he made a rich list query of the Waves blockchain 10 days ago. The biggest holder is Bittrex with 21M Waves. Second is the team with 10M. The first whale comes after that with 5M. Etc....

It is good to keep the fees low compared to counterparty to attract new users. Another step would be to simplify the task of creation and issuing the assets. I think Waves team is nailing that too. Waiting for more updates!
