I have about 60 WCT that I have earned from leasing for 9 months. It is a decent payout for leasing. I would imagine that you will get a larger airdrop proportional to how many you have but it was stated that all waves addresses will get something
i just bought 1500 wct, sold a bit of my waves bag.... hopefully the airdrop is decent! imo leasing is not good. you dont get much waves, okay you get a bit of wct but the token doesnt have much value.... not like gas has to neo
im curious about with Waves-NG... I have around 6600 waves now.... can I run a node and earn waves? or at least more wct? because the staking rewards are better on other platforms like neo, stratis, lisk, rise, neblio

We'll find out soon how much we'd get from airdrop. Lucky you have 60 WCT, I think I only have 20WCT in my account and I got it from airdrop as well. Since then I haven't opened my wallet since last year. I'd be surprise If I have some tokens that I don't know but have good value but as of now, I'm just keeping my waves. Good to see the price have increased so much from $3 this year to $16.

There is an "unlease tool" available through Waves support.
Please don't use tools you find on the internet, they may be wallet steelers.

I'm confused, isn't Waves and older coin. Why is this thread created in September doing an airdrop on the 25th of December.
The original topic was locked by a moderator after violation of a forum policy. The violation wasn't on purpose but it's "zero tolerance" so no chance it will be unlocked.
I have opened a new topic in september, this is now the unofficial Waves supporters topic.
This specific airdrop is an airdrop of Liquid tokens to Waves and WCT holders, not an airdrop of Waves tokens.
Ok, thanks for the clarification. I wasn't too familiar. Will read up on Waves to learn more about it.

I dont know why but binance suspended waves withdrawal, this causes price drop there.
Are they up for the airdrop?
Too bad for those who sent their waves there when they could have done trading on the DEX. If you have supported wavesplatform, you might just have to use the dex to show support for it. This will make its volume at least higher that will promote the platform itself when people look at the volume of exchanges. Will receive the airdrop soon, thanks in advnace.

The Waves-NG code was deployed on mainnet earlier this month, with miners tasked with signalling whether the proposal should be activated. After the required threshold of 80% of blocks within the voting period was reached, NG was locked in on Monday. The subsequent waiting period has now elapsed and we are pleased to announce that NG is live!
Waves-NG is based on the Bitcoin-NG proposal made by Cornell University’s Emin Gün Sirer. Instead of pending transactions being added to a block retrospectively, as in bitcoin’s system, the next miner is chosen in advance. The miner is then able to add transactions to the block as fast as network latency allows — almost in real-time.
Along with optimisations for a proof-of-stake system, this approach will allow Waves to process around 6,000 transactions per minute. This increase in capacity is absolutely vital if Waves is to support the kind of mass-market applications for which it was designed. Moreover, this is only a starting point. Further upgrades are expected to take the capacity of the blockchain closer to 1,000 tx/second in the future — without factoring in the effect of any off-chain transactions.
