I guess not. Waves is far from killing etherium. ETH has a lot more potential than waves. The price may be down by now but im sure it will recover.

Ethereum is the most popular alt coin in current crypto market.ETH future is more bright like as BTC,BCH,Zcash.Waves is not bad coin but i think Waves never cross ETH.Still price is big difference between ETH & Waves.

actually, it might kill the ethereum if waves will provide something that eth can not. far from that it is impossible for waves to surpass the technology behind ETH.

I don't think Waves will kill ETH, ETH is a great coin with a great team.
And Waves... Waves is just a surrogate

BETH is certainly next after BTC . Comparing at present with the Waves is not being justified because the demand of the ETH and the team is far superior. Waves on the other hand for me is not that investibale coin if I have to consider the future with this coin return. ETH, I can see the vision and the usability of the coin .

In my opinion, I do not think that waves has the capacity to overcome Ethereum on its own. My experience with Waves so far is not really that good specially with ICO's that uses waves. There is no volume in the waves dex page and the value of the waves tokens are very very low.

We can't know this. For the current circumstances, waves is way weaker than ethereum. But next years can bring us some unexpected results. Wawes platform is getting more popular every moment and their assets are getting on the exchanges.

The only problem is with its trade volume, it's really low, but it will increase.

I wouldn’t use the world kill but i agree waves will be a great competitor to ethereum. Ethereum is the most useful coin out there right now but I believe waves will keep on developing and take some share from ethereum’s business with time .

The fact that a number of technological developments are good does not mean that Waves will pass Ethereum. I think that besides technological developments, it should be in some things. The most important of these is brand awareness.

Wave is going to have serious boom in days to come and we expect a serious pump of it price.  Wave technology is far better than that of ethereum to me and we actually has to acknowledged its Features of fast transactions and DEV. In years to come wave is going to compete with ethereum and if care is not taking it might taking the position of ethereum.

Not in this life.
Waves are a good platform with great potential, but ETH has great potential for growth too Smiley
It seems to me that the second thing, that people find out when they come to cryptoworld is ETH.

Not yet as the user in their dex is small compared to ethereum community. Waves boast dex but the daily volume in the dex itself is small and the only waves token that generate big volume in the dex is monkey capital which turns out to be a scam. In Waves NG it has faster transaction time and a new interface for the dex but i think they should find a way to bring people into using their dex. If their DEX is successful then they have the chance to kill ethereum.

I don't really think Waves will kill Ethereum because their platforms are different and their projects and developments are different as well. I think its far to tell if Waves will kill Ethereum too because Ethereum already had build its reputation and Waves needs to build a better reputation and progression too.

There is so much speculation about Wave overpassing Ethereum, I've been seeing that everywhere lately. People keep of forgeting that Ethereum has already many projects that are already building on it and they are unlikely to want to switch to a new platform (there isn't any reason to do so, and faster transactions doesn't mean anything if ETH can currently support the current user base/demand). Wave overpassing Ethereum is like saying that Litecoin will overpass Bitcoin. Litecoin might be better (which I'm not saying that it is, or indicate that Waves is better than Ethereum but even if it is) it will not surpass it, because Bitcoin and Ethereum both have the first mover advantage and as you've seen there are many projects that are building on these platforms. It's unlikely Waves will overpass Ether.

I don't think that Waves will kill ethereum. But in my opinion, it is a good coin which can bring big profits in the future. And according to price of the Waves and the Ethereum, it is really hard to say that waves can take the fame of ethereum.

I think that wave will not kill Ethereum, because many platform Ethereum built projects, this not once write posts, and I subscribe to these statements.

I don't expect people to leave Ethereum chain for their coins to Waves. I expect immersive community support but not enough dev support so I think Waves won't kill Ethereum ever.

Waves has had a great few days recently,

Prices have risen over $5 again, I suspect that once they implement their roadmap features in Q1 it will start to soar, so now is a great time to grab 100 or so and hold on the long ride.

The NG stress test worked really well, giving an amazing amount of transactions per second.
