I don't recommend faucets and I've been using them at the start. They are good for first understanding of btc and transactions but for making money, no. Better get your memeber rank and join a signature campaign.

If you haven't realized yet, the owner of the site makes tons for putting ads up there, and only has to pay out a tiny bit. See how it works? They eat up your time with useless shit.

You can also earn in a faucet, and use for gambling. In that way no risk, but possible high reward  Smiley

You can do that.
Or you can earn 10x more from joining a signature campaign more easily. Wink

There is a chance to earn with gambling sites that have a faucet also, but its also a questionable is it worth it.

It doesn't worth it IMO, unless there are some special events.
But still, you can get more from gambling sites built-in faucets and rainbot than normal faucet sites.

I agree, betting with the small "dust" satoshi amounts is worth it.  What do you have to lose?  And there are plenty of gaming options to choose from.

Im guessing you dont value you time enough.
Its not a matter or win or loose, because when its a matter of "dust" value, its better to not even try.

You should check the Primedice free faucet, and dice with it.

Faucets are a waste of time trust me. You'll only get a few cents so what's the point?

The point is people are doing difficult manual labor in Brasil for fitty fi scent a day

In that case, they should still get a lot more bitcoin from sig campaign than they can get from faucets.
Say if you have a member account and join PD campaign, you can get 0.0004 a post (with 10 post a day, you can get $2 a day). Smiley

I do agree that if I lived in another country and had access to the internet I'd absolutely  get involved with Bitcoin.  You can make more than your salary by sitting at a screen. Heck you could have your wife at home doing the same thing.  it would be hard to explain to them but once they saw the money coming in they'd go for it.

I think if you're going to "waste" time on faucets you might as well do it at sites like Primedice and you can try to multiply it with the dice feature, and then withdraw.  At least you can get something that way whereas the regular faucets don't offer enough reward for your time.
yes, you could get faucet money, put in primedice, and hope that luck is on your side  Smiley

My point is simply that people in dire poverty in 20XX will hear of faucets dispensing free satoshi/coin and be astounded.

I see 'bitcoin stories' already and they will surely get more popular as the people most apt to consume them get involved.

"The story of how I lived (modestly) off the reward from a satoshi faucet for a year."

Who knows?

It depends how much dollars you're making er hour and how much free time you have. If you're in complete poverty or trapped somewhere, bitcoin faucets may be a way to start

Of course faucets are a ponzi-scheme within the ponzi-schme of crypto within the ponzi scheme of fiat. Human history is ponzi-scheme inception.

To somebody just starting out it's a decent point of entry.

With wild speculation on future satoshi prices one day it could be as if being paid a few hundred dollars to fill in a few captchas, just like receiving whole bitcoin years ago. While there are more efficient ways to turn a profit it's interesting to consider the possibility of say, eating free for 3 months in 2030 if you leave your balance untouched.

If Bitcoin were to get to the price level you are speculating it will, it would still be way more profitable to transform a handful of dollars into Bitcoins rather than do faucets. There's really no way faucets make sense, other than to try sending transactions for the first time and learn how wallets work.
