So you don't believe in diversified portfolios?

Good luck with that.

Diversified within cryptocurrency?  Nah, it's bitcoin or bust.  Anything else is just stupid gambling.

Diversified with other investments with bitcoin being a part of that?  Yes, but I think only a small part of one's portfolio should be allocated to btc.  And OP I don't get exactly what you're trying to say with your picture here.  Why don't you spit it out and actually write some words down to describe what you're thinking.

and this:

If I'm not mistaken, this was a bug from the website back then. But it does prove a point Cheesy

Considering they have doge priced at $400 per coin I'd say so.

Come on op we're near the top of a nice pump not on the verge of greatness and takeover from that crap.

It is there as a whales play thing, nothing else for a very long time.

Who cares. Chinese people don't need a working blockchain to pump a coin to jupiter  Grin

Because without fundamental value, then the winners of the P&D are not the greater fools (which includes the vast majority of readers). Someone has to lose for others to gain in P&D that doesn't actually create adoption, network efforts and fundamental value.

Reported for spamming. We dont care that you lost and sold SHORT.  Get over it!

Sorry bagholder. I never shorted that piece-of-shitcoin. Find a new excuse for your selling your shit to other greater fools in a zero-sum game with no long-term potential actual innovation and adoption network effects.

sometime in future ALTs will be worth ... X2 X4 X16 ... btc

the other question is how much will btc be rated over central banks Smiley

it is an LLP ... not a rat race Smiley

The thing to think about is a coin that sits betewen BTC and the other trash alts say around 800mill or 1 billion dollars worth of cap is needed
just like gold has silver etc.

If ethereum continues to show promise , it could fill this void that both dodgecoin and lightcoin tried to fill, me for now i'm buying eth and mining it as well and buying BTC as usuall on the dips.

I might have bought some ethereum if it wasnt for the constant spam messages i keep getting on reddit. Obviously just paying people to spread this spam and then pump and dump this coin. bitcoin is still no1.

Are you guys for real? Why does everyone assume that you have to be one or the other? What's wrong with having a boot in both camps, Ethereum and Bitcoin? In other words, a bet with and against the banksters. For my understanding Ethereum is not seen or meant as a challenger to Bitcoin. Ethereum is spoken of as the 'Oil' to Bitcoins 'Gold'.

Whats wrong with competition? Did you know necessity is the mother of invention? Bitcoin has not really evolved since the beginning very little development has gone into it, because there was no necessity.

BUT times has changed, because now there is something far superior in every way than Bitcoin.
I never implied there was anything wrong with competition. You're preaching to the choir replying to me. I'm long on Bitcoin and Ethereum.

I don't know what all the marketcap speculation stuff means to everyone else.  But, I do know that the R3CEV blockchain group invested more for just the research into their project then the combined  612 Currencies / 53 Assets / 1580 Markets listed on http://coinmarketcap.com.  The combined marketcap of all those listed is a mere $6,760,347,069 which is small compared to R3CEV's $9,000,000,000 investment into their version of a blockchain ledger.....That is frightening to me!  R3CEV is the group to watch out for!....AND, they may be negotiating with some of the above mentioned technologies!

Nice jump by ETH but that means nothing. Ripple's marketcap was at ~$754 mil at one point but that didn't last too long:

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ripple/

Ripple was pumped up to near the top, then bitshares was pumped up to near the top, now ethereum is being pumped up to near the top. I have no respect for anything that can't hold its place anymore. If an altcoin could stay consistently at second place for a few years, then I would have some respect for it. Bitcoin is the only coin that has proved its value by staying at the top for years, and if Bitcoin starts crashing all the altcoins will crash faster and further.

So these guys are the people spamming the Reddit accounts in a desperate race to compete with Bitcoin? ETH has a long way to go to be in the same

room with Bitcoin. At least we do not have to team up with banks {the official competition for Crypto currencies} to get to the top. I know many

women who did the same {slept their way to the top} and lost all respect from the people they worked with. We are the legacy we left behind.

Naaah, I will still use bitcoin for now. Ethereum is too new to be stable.

When Ethereum become stable then I'll consider switching.

no altcoin will ever dream to reach 0.03-0.05, wake me when this will happen, ah this not for few day or week, but as a permanent new value

i believe ethereum can stabilize around the usual 0.01-0.02 like litecoin was, no more...also the marketcap is 1/30 of that of bitcoin
