I followed an airdrop that didn't have a winner so everything got a thorough distribution. These airdrops look very small, but some (1 in 10) are amazing, even making an equivalent income if creating articles on bounty.
I am confused reading your thread. The title is about 'bounty', but the content is mostly about 'airdrop'. 
Anyway, related to 'rely on bounty'. No one should rely on bounty or airdrop, it cannot be the main job. If you want to join bounty or airdrop, it is no problem as long as you only make it as your side job and don't expect to get regular income from them. You must be aware of too many scam cases both in bounty or airdrop. Relying on them is a very bad idea for sure.

I could say that around 100% I think only 5% is giving the rewards in the bounty.
In short, nowadays its hard to rely our profit in the bounty campaign, maybe they can do this as
their sideline or part time job only, because all bounty campaign now or airdrops before
we can able to receive the rewards it can take months and, half year or 1 yr almost, something
like that.
Bounty rewards should be distributed after the campaign or a month's after the ICO or IDO. The problem on these campaign nowadays are only mediocre project choosing to launch bounty campaign while trusted campaign are only using launchpad to surely get liquidity from investors without the need of extensive marketing for themselves. Its very rare to see a legit company that will choose bounty campaign nowadays for there marketing promotion of sales.
Every opportunities in crypto space is worth seizing, I'm here today in a very happy shape because I always take chances with crypto I've joined over 500 airdrops since 2017 and few gives good rewards while many failed or refuse to pay up and bounty is even better it's just that not every projects have good team some will keep their promises while some won't, bounties and airdrops should be taken lightly because good results isn't guaranteed
I can't imagine joining 500 airdrops... But, it was a little bit interesting to know how much you get from them? Anyways, 2017 is a great year for airdrops, I did some participation during those days and seems I was too lucky to have some coins with unexpected high market value. But for now, I'm not sure if there are still valuable airdrops that we could find. As even joining 500 airdrops, maybe only less than 1% could give you a few bucks while the rest are worthless and shitcoins.

Although I have not for the last three years, I can give a general idea. You cannot hope to be airdropped with golden eggs. You will only receive shitdrops worth nothing. Its very rare to see a legit company that will choose bounty campaign nowadays for there marketing promotion of sales.
What kind of promotion companies choose then instead of bounty? Banner ads on popular sites? Or hire popular people that will talk about the project from time to time?
Ive only noticed, that number of campaign, as well as number of projects has decreased. But projects still use bounty campaigns for promotion, as it is one of the cheapest way to promote. Paying own tokens cost only network transaction fees, while for other kids of promotion, project must use tradable crypto (like BTC, ETH, BNB) or pay in stables.

it's very clear that we can still rely on bounties, because my personal experience is that when compared to bounties with airdrops, bounties are much more profitable, airdrops are good, but getting tokens from airdrops is very difficult, payments also take a long time, after that the pay is small , sometimes there are also scam bounties, but most of them pay, and the amount paid is pretty good.
True but do not rely on bounty or it will make you desperate and begin doing things that will get you in trouble. Understand that bounties are just benefits o been in the forum and not a job so do not treat it as one. When people consider bounties as job, it makes them do things that would make them earn more like using multiple accounts to try cheating the campaign and usually they get into problem as they get punished with removal from campaign or red trust.
The forum understand that her users are meant to get some benefits been on the forum that is why they have all this earning opportunities, lets not misuse it by cheating as many are doing because this is bringing bad name to the forum. This days project hardly get any outcome as bots and fake friends are all over the social media to increase their reward meanwhile projects get nothing in return.

Now it's getting harder and harder to find a decent airdrop. And that's why I'm not chasing quantity, but looking for quality. It is better to do bounty projects, although the payment leaves much to be desired for work in a certain period. what do you think about the current airdrop?

I think the airdrops from several bounties are still quite worth it for now, or even in the future. personally, the bounty and airdrop in 2021 is pretty impressive. although there are still quite a lot of airdrops and bounties that are scams, but several projects that year made me feel that they were still very worth it.what do you think about the current airdrop?

for the beginning of this year, I actually haven't felt that way, unless it's paid for using stable coins. however, I think, this year will also present bounties and airdrops that are quite appropriate to do. You need luck and effort if you want to make a profit from bounty or airdrop, not all projects that offer bounty have the potential will pay you on time or will not scam you, just last year alone of the over 20 bounties I participated in I only made a good profit or real income from 4 bounties, bounty and airdrop are all the same there's no guaranty if this is your bread and butter you are in a bit of tough luck.

I hate to hear that word rely actually. Cause it somehow sound dependable on the part of bounty. Let me remind that this isnt a job. Dont ever expect anything out of it especially if the one you will do is on altcoin. Yes there is a chance that youll earned that tokens but of course you should be aware that the value of it is on the token itself. There are plenty of bounty that pay in tokens but some of them are scam. If ever you encountered a campaign from a newbie account or just new manager offering campaign, make sure that his project is worth it or not. Find out and dig some first before submitting any proof of participation, its better not to waste time before tou even started doing something for them. what do you think about the current airdrop?

I still participate in the airdrops and I believe there will be good money droppers. Because I recently earned a lot of money from airdrops and raffles in the crypto money field. If you are lucky, you can get nice tokens along with making good money. I think it's good to seize every opportunity. I've been getting good money lately, especially from bounty detective bounties. You can evaluate.
Some airdrops are really worth it but most of them are useless. If you want to get free crypto, i will suggest that you participate in bounties because bounties are much better then the airdrop.
You should choose only the strongest projects and the ones that are not very popular among the crypto community. Focus on these two categories and then you will definitely catch some gems over time.
Isn't it that the ones that are already popular are tastier so they get more potential and excellent profits ? because those who are less popular have to spend more time in making promotions so that they become popular again in the future.For the new projects, it hard to calculate that if a certain project will be successful or not. For bounties, you have to take the risk of your time and energy. In some case you will be rewarded with good money and in few times all your efforts will be in vain if the project is a scam or does not pay you the coins at the end of the bounty.

This is true, but it might take some time on your end to really discover what is legit and what is scam airdrop and then how much it's worth in the future. That's why many people are still in the fence as far as airdrop today, unlike in the past. So for me, just like you, bounty programs could be a better option that airdrop at this time.
