how can we be sure that you will not give the jackpot to your own address?

Look, we give out hundreds of dollars a month in bitcoin. If we wanted to just give ourself 60 bucks worth of bitcoin, we probably wouldn't have started this whole project. Sure, I understand that it's good have a healthy skepticism, but we provide an actual winners page: http://www.jackpotfaucetnetwork.com/portal/wl_sites/jackpot_winners.html

The person that won it last time lives about 4000 miles from us, and we got him to provide a testimony about the fairness and speedy payout. If you don't want to take part, then just don't.

It would be cool if you would implement a provably fair system or use a trusted third party to choose the winner

Let me answer it
Any suggestions/feedback/critiques about this jackpot's fairness will always get the same answer, that is "If you don't want to take part because you think it is unfair, please go to another faucet with a huge progressive jackpot"

Guys, let me explain this to you in a way that you will understand:

We pay out, without fail, every Friday, Hundreds of dollars worth of satoshi to members all over the world. If you've taken part, or know anyone that has taken part, they can verify this. Why on earth would we not pay out $60 to the winner of the jackpot, which is the crux of our entire site. This is a low maintenance site, we could of course develop some system for a 3rd party to choose or a provably fair drawing, but why waste our time doing that? People are still going to line up to get their coins from us because we are a reliable faucet, that works and more importantly pays. So sure, you can complain, throw stones, do whatever, but in reality, it doesn't matter. Thanks for the input. We're going to keep giving away free coins to all of our users, every friday, like clockwork. And as soon as someone that has the winning wallet address inputs it and makes a successful claim, they will be redirected to a page that explains how to get their winnings.

got it?

Not adding a feature that will make more people feel safe and attract more people because it's too much work is a really weird decision to make from a buisness standpoint. Even the worst dice sites spend the time to implement a proveably fair system and that is simply the standard the bitcoin community is used to. There is no logical reason for you to not implement a proveably fair system if you're planning to actually pay out the money.

Give us answers, not the "Go use other faucets, if you do not trust us" attitude.

You owe that, to the people, who generate your income.  Angry

I think you'll not get the answer except "
If you don't want to take part because you think it is unfair, please go to another faucet with a huge progressive jackpot"  Grin Grin

He's right ^. Still no winner has claimed. We are patiently awaiting the winner!

Who's the winner then? I surely didn't won it.

The winner will be notified when they make a successful claim. The winning wallet address will then redirect that user to a page with directions on how to claim. Last time it took a few days.

Fake ticket of course fake winner...

there is no ticket number so how you draw the ticket?

If it is not fake, you should give the ticket number for each claim and draw it with number generator. That will be FAIR...

If you don't want to take part because you think it is unfair, please go to another faucet with a huge progressive jackpot...oh wait...

Thanks, friend! Yes the next jackpot is less than a week away! Also, we don't show our balance or reserve because we're reliable payers. Ask any other user of this site if they have been sent their payments and they will tell you, that each Friday, like clockwork, payments are sent out.

A winner has been chosen!

Make another successful claim and if you have the winning wallet address you'll be redirected to a page that gives you instructions on how to claim!

www.jackpotfaucet.com

So, is this the winner for the last draw ?
http://www.jackpotfaucetnetwork.com/portal/wl_sites/jackpot_winners.html

How was the winner chosen ?

Nope, the winner hasn't claimed yet! They will be notified that they are the winner upon making another successful claim. They will be redirected to a winners page with instructions on how to claim their prize.

As for how the winner was chosen, it is done via a random number program. Look, we know we know! More Transparancy! But as for now, we do the drawing in-house and make sure the winner provides us with a testimonial as to how fair and quick the payment process was.
