well we can't do anything can we? you should redirect this question to future owner of future exchange, but many are lazy and want an easy name, i doubt you will see a variety of original name out there

but there are actually a few other like cryptsy and poloniex, but what it matter more is a strong name, not the fact that contain bit, coin ecc.., i find for example bittrex as strong name

Yeah, like Mt. Gox! or Silk Road! Wait...they aren't around anymore are they?

Kidding, obviously a name doesn't correlate with business success (unless the name is personally offensive to many people).

Xapo is a cool name.

What others exist? Give it time and you'll see tones of creativity out there. Part of the draw to a bit- or a -coin name is that bitcoin is still so new, there needs to be some brand recognition for these new companies.

not to mention mintpal, was original, but we all know what happened...

Yes, it's great that we can tell just by looking at your domain that you use bitcoin but we've gotten to the point where people will have some awful name and just add bit or coin to it somewhere and think it's the best thing ever. We're beyond that point now. Off the top of my head, I can think of Kraken. They chose a memorable name, that doesn't involve any part of the word bitcoin. No, they didn't go bankrupt because of it. Add some originality, people.
