You are actually trolling with your thread. No more paper USDT and that's totally non sense thing to be created these days. You can even get paper money on your life easily and there's no different with USDT as long as you can get paper dollar. Go to the your local bank account and got your paper USD there.
That will make sense rather than try to create a new thing that doesn't even needed in this crypto market. I think that you were joking with your idea dude.
It will never work forever as there are bunch of paper money in your life. LOL.

That's too much to ask, having a paper usdt is like having a country, why would we compete to world's paper currency when it's easier to use USDT as a digital currency.

Let us not forget that it all started with bitcoin which main's purpose is a decentralized digital currency, we already go divert by creating a centralized currency but paper money is just too much and will probably not pass the regulatory requirement, or no regulation for this one, meaning not allowed.

Are you trolling? you're discussing about the printing of money and you're thinking that we should have a paper USDT. Well, in that case, there's already the USD that's been in the unstoppable brrrrrrrrrr mode.
There's no difference from digital USDT or paper USDT/USD. They are both controlled and centralized.

By paper, do you mean a paper wallet containing private keys to an address holding USDT, or something in form of IOU similar to USD?

We already have paper BTC storage in form of notes such as Bitcoin Suisse and Polymerbit. Beautiful looking notes too. (I will make it clear that those are not meant to be used for storing large sums of BTC, just as a novelty.)

You could take the same concept and create paper USDT notes similarly. I don't understand the appeal of USDT though. Wouldn't you wanna use USD instead? The bills are already in circulation. Why not use those instead?

Besides, if you were to purchase paper notes containing private keys to a public key holding USDT, now you're having to trust three parties to not screw you over:

1) The creator of the paper USDT notes to not have malicious intent
2) The creators of USDT to not dissolve their organization
3) US federal reserve to not devalue USD exceedingly

All in all, that's a terrible idea.

I could understand it from a collector's point of view though. But that wouldn't make sense for regular use.

We already have Usd paper. Why create a paper back up by another paper?

There will be no benefits for adding  one more intermediary. Unless it is somewhere where you are forbidden or there is no other way to get usd,  it would be unnecessary.

There is a risky associated with usdt (bitifniez may not have everything backed up)

Usdt in the digital form is useful because you can transact with anyone anywhere, very fast which sometimes you cant using usd.

But as a paper, it would be the same as usd,  but more risky
