While it's saddening for us, there's not much that we can do about it right now although there are now more countries that already accept bitcoin as a mode of payment but to expect the whole world to do the same is far from happening. It will take many decades more to achieve that.

Sincerely, we really do need to, we are not contributing to its growth and acceptability the world over if the trend continues like this. However, do not lay the blame on those in for the monetary gains alone, we all have different reasons for joining the crypto world. Change is on the horizon when we all change.

I have only gained good things from cryptocurrencies (they have changed my life for the better), however, I am frustrated at those who are in for money, and only money. They hurt themselves as well as cryptocurrencies future. I am sad that I still can't use bitcoin to purchase the things I want, as it isn't used as a payment currency/method. I am sad that there are big financial institutions that want (and do their best) to wipe the crypto world out, and instead of working together as a crypto-community to thrive, we are fighting, arguing, and scamming each other. Where I live, the government relentlessly tightens and destroys our financial lives—I was lucky to have found salvation in cryptocurrencies when others struggled.

I like you or many other people involved in this market, want it to thrive and bring true value for life. However, this has not happened and it may take a long time. Bitcoin is a very new market, be patient and you will be rewarded when everything is recognized and applied in real life.
In this world, there's always the positive as well as the negative side, pros and cons, advantages and disadvantages, etc. It's human nature and law of nature that opposing sides exist. Probably the best way is just to show to the whole world the best person you are and how you can contribute to make cryptocurrencies as the best in the world.
just like the previous year bitcoin were using for few things so now we need some change and if bitcoin banks started every where it will be more good and appreciating for us and it will make the transaction more secure and faster.
I agree that sometimes we cant use our own earn crypto currencies to buy what we want in our life because sometimes we use it for something like bills debt and credits in some people and thats the reason that sometimes we are thinking that we are hurting ourselves just to work hard for crypto but some of realizing that we are just facing some challenge because of crisis in the market and we can also call it testing our own patience. And i agree that sometimes we need some change in our life to reach our goals and achievements.
No dought cryptocurrency is an investment and at that in every investment the purpose is to make profits which is money to better our life, but we should also remember the other uses of crypto which as a currency and we should respect that fact also and use for that in most time rather then taking as a get rich quick scheme.

I hope this is the case, but so many people are coming in just for the money majority of the people are like this and people are attracted because of the profit they are going to make because this is cryptocurrency's biggest attraction, coming from the past who made millions from investing in cryptocurrency.

We can't blame people that got involved in bitcoin because of money. It is because bitcoin is really money in the internet and everyone wants to take a chance to become a bitcoin millionaire. Unfortunately, in my country, we can't still used bitcoin as it is supposed to be because it is not yet widely accepted.
it is partly our own fault though. you can't always blame others. for example you mentioned something about not being able to spend bitcoin to purchase things you want. the question is, have you really searched to see if it is impossible to buy that thing with bitcoin or are you making an assumption? because i have seen many who were just assuming they can't spend bitcoin but they could.

For example, if I want to buy something from Amazon, there is Purse.io which lets you purchase from Amazon using bitcoin, however, the things I want (Electronics, to be specific) are not available there, and they only have a few products. Online stores where I live won't accept bitcoin as a payment. Another example, Steam. When they supported bitcoin as a payment method, I bought every game I had on my wish list using bitcoin (I have spent more than 0.25BTC on Steam, not much, I know), then they stopped accepting bitcoin during the insanely high fees period last year, which turned me down (I know there are third–party Steam keys resellers like G2A, cdkeys, etc. which accept bitcoin, however, I wanted to support bitcoin on Steam to let them know that it is needed and being utilised as a payment option). By the way, I don't blame merchants, retailers, and businesses for refusing bitcoin as a payment option, I know business is business.
Why would merchants accept crypto if only 0.02% are using them? If this number gets up then merchants will adjust automatically. There is also a hurdle in terms of investing...they need to buy equipment so they can integrate crypto payments which is expensive.

We do not need to change the goal that we want, to be a millionaire, because it is a good idea that we are dreaming for a big one but the problem is that some people are only depending there dream to bitcoin which is not a good idea at all, so I think the only thing that we need to change is the idea that bitcoin will makes you rich.We need to show the world that we are not just a bunch of wanna-be millionaires, that we actually care.
