It is undeniable that the political leaders in the country have not been exercising their responsibility in the manner the citizens has expected of them as leaders, but one thing we should all understand which is what quite a number of person's don't know is that we are all leaders in our respective offices and if we all use our positions committed wherever we find ourselves we can network for the better of the nation and not just only on political office holders...

In whatever corner we all find ourselves and we decide to do the right thing and divorce corruptible tendencies in the execution of our duties it will go a very long way to make better the society. One person alone can't make the society better that's the simple truth.

We all have a role to play for a better Nigeria. When reciting the national anthem we say “peace and unity” but there’s no unity well I say a country as a team that should come together and achieve mutual goals, we can make Niger a better place is just till we work together hand in hand

Yes, in most cases we are the ultimate cause of some of the challenges we are facing, starting from the election rigging, judges collecting bribe even after knowing the truth. These are some of the behavior that has kept us in this kind of condition and I suppose we are not yet ready to put a stop considering from our last elections.

Now the question is if something like this comes again who will go and who will protest?. This question dey very important because the lifes wey go that season ehhn, for me I'm not ready for that drama and I sure say you sef no ready for that one, parents of those children wey die that season see shege and I no sure say any parent go allow their children protest again, those men are always ready to kill at any given opportunity. If we want to go the hard way alot of people will die so I will prefer everyone should just avoid such.
Election na our only weapons as citizens and now the election no dey help again, so what do you think about this country and our government, we just have to wait for a right leader because when God don choose leader nobody fit stop the process.

Op, you are making sense when you said that Nigerian's are not ready to embrace a good Nigeria, sometimes I don't blame the government in some things, I blame the citizens for everything, we are the reason why the political elites rig elections here in Nigeria, the security agents that they use to perpetrate this evil are members if the society that can resist the unGodly attempts of politicians but they choose to join them in the said act instead of defending the truth, they chose the negative side because of the will get, the youths are even used as an apparatus to rig election here, so do we expect, it is important for us as Nigerians to start condemning the barbaric acts of politicians here. OP. This topic touch me ohh no be lie, e don tai when we dey cry out for change, no be today something. I like the fact say you point out the two major factors when they involved to make sure say the change take place,

1. The government/ people when dey in power
2. We the citizens

The government for sure nai they regulate the affairs when concern we country, so nah them they play the major role to make sure say change take place, that one we as citizens fit only play minor role inside, and we don also see say even the leaders when we fully put trust on say them go make change for the country las las go still fall our hand, con carry us go back to square zero things go even come dey hand pass b4.

Nigeria will never be well. Not a course but fact. It's easy to say Dan done. There is no freedom without sacrifice. But the question be who will bear the cat? When it comes to the Nigerian citizens been ready for change, I don't think since the history of this country the entire Nigerians have ever been ready for change the way we did before the just concluded presidential election which paved way to "Bola Ahmed Tinubu", and this is a scenario you just can't compare with the growth of Bitcoin which was as a result of our own collective personal growth (i.e Bitcoin lovers), unlike in the case of national security, good roads, good education system, employment and e.t.c, all rested on the shoulders of the Federal government.

Hence, for change to be effective both citizens and government need to put hands on deck...

I have to agree with the op, but honestly, sometimes, I cant help but ask what exactly should we as Nigerians do?, the country right now has gotten so bad to the extend that we as youths can no longer protest the bad deeds of the government in peace anymore, simply because even the security operatives have been bought over by the same government we voted into power, and the worst is, they wont hesitate to shoot and kill anybody who is seen to be protesting against the bad elements we now have a government.

And the thing right now, no body is ready to die anymore, after all, those who were killed at Lekki tollgate, what did or has the government done about it, if not to keep dying that no human was killed, even when there are several evidence both online and offline pointing to the fact that a lot of youths were killed in the course of that endsars protest.

My conclusion is, Nigeria is not worth dying for, this is what Goodluck Ebele Jonathan said during 2015 election that brought in Buhari as president of Nigeria, and i am here repeating same thing that Nigeria is not worth the blood of any youth, as i personally believe that, at the appropriate time, all will be alright.

Thats true sha Nigerians have the mindset of always improving and trying to be better at what they know how to do best. And I noticed something about Nigerians we have plenty talented people but lack proper management of this talents have seen how a lot of people have shown interest in different areas of life. Although I wouldn't claim we are the smartest, I would say we have an excellent ability to adapt to any scenario. Nigerians are also intelligent and knowledgeable. That i know for sure. People must find alternative ways to make a living in order to maintain the country's unfavorable economic status. The currency is worthless, which has a significant impact on many market commodities. Plenty fucked up situations in the country. There are many absurd circumstances in the nation. Thank God for the chance that cryptocurrency has provided for us, at least in the short term when it comes to solving problems for many people.

If you check well you no suppose blame all this people wey de reason am say naija no go better and nothing good fit comot for Nigeria again no matter the person wey climb that seat because for how many years now we don change president and nothing de really change and the worst part sef be say e con be like things de even worse pass as dem be before. Everytime wey new president enter seat things con de worse pass the last person time. We no fit compare Obadanjo tenure with Goodluck tenure and so we no fit compare Goodluck wey everybody de shout say him no try say him don spoil country with Buhari regime, to me Buhari was the worst of all because alot of people had faith in him they believed so much in him to make a difference but he failed us all.

With the kind shege wey Nigerians don see so far you no suppose blame them when dem conclude say naija no go good again but all we can do is have hope because when we give up on the country it is like giving up on ourselves. Na the Nigeria mentality be that ooo,  suffering and smiling na so them do us, I am baffled with the way and manner at which youths in Nigeria are easily carried away by this politician and their games of feeding the poor with pine nuts from the collective wealth of the nations.

A lot of the youths have turned into hype men to politicians, The worst case is, that some of them are even educated and still lack the mental capacity to design a well-thought-out pathway for themselves,  and that brings me to another scenario that plays out almost the same but in two different categories.

1: if I wonder why someone will take just 10k to risk their life for a politician and I am wondering about such a low mentality.

2: how then another Scilly scenario among the poor,  where you find out and discover that the poor people at the most waste of resources and you kind of wonder,  how can someone that is poor still be a waster,  well that is the mentality of a typical Nigeria.
