It is possible for Bitcoin to reach $800 this year but it is going to somewhat depend on what the price is going to be after the halving.
So we just have to wait and see what is going to happen and what the future will bring us.

Perhaps this correction came at the right time to allow the price to climb a lot further around or just before the halving date.
We have seen a very steep price increase after leaving the 560-90 corridor. This was obviously greedy speculation. Now from a psychological point of view it is important to not fall below this level (high 5xxs) again. (This area is, as some TA experts said, also an important Fibonacci retreat level).
If this value can hold or BTC finds even a higher short-time floor, then I expect the 800 to be broken before the halving. It could go as high as the 950-990 area, but I think for 1000+ it's simply too early, as the positive (and even euphoric) sentiment in the cryptocurrency world has taken a hit because of the DAO incident.

Just a correction. BTC was obviously overbought. It will start climbing up from 650$ range again.
I am hoping for a pop and fall to $600. We seem heated up with speculation. Let's break $800 in August or September when we have a valuation based more on utility.
I think this will happen. Any fast rise in bitcoin is followed by a correction movement that cause a fall
in my opinion we will still reach 800 soon and maybe even a new all time high after a few weeks
Just cut the post halving slow growth bullshit. You get a big pump. Crashes. Then settles somewhere in between. Thats how bitcoin grows. The 1000+ action is within the next 3 weeks. Don't be dumb, mark my words.
$1000 could potentially be there, but I wouldn't make any guarantees. The halving will just show us where the miners are going to be able to settle in, and not throw Bitcoin up super high just because Bitcoin has become relatively more scarce. The miners still have their own bottom line and can manage to sell Bitcoin for less than everyone else if they price everything correctly.

Correct. At this point the price can go into any direction. That's why it's extra important to use the +$700 prices in your advantage to cash out some of your coins. Those who did sell at +$700 prices did the right thing.
