That's a very crude way of drawing the chart. This one is much better.

Well, it's $850 by march 31st then... Wink

imo the following would be the best possible scenario at the moment. if that happens we can talk about going higher.

there are 3 downtrends, one just got broken by a single whale (not sure yet if this is really broken). and there are two more downtrends to break.

We will see $850 by March 3rd.

This is my prediction. I have been watching this market like a hawk since December and I am sure that the only thing keeping the price from being in the mid 800s is the MTGOX fiasco. The smoke is clearing and all of the people who now know about Bitcoin from the publicity will realize that this is a great chance to get into the market.

If I were you, I certainly wouldn't be buying based on some newbie...but I want to come back to this thread at the end of the week and say "told ya!"  Grin

It was over 570 on Bitstamp just minutes ago, still far from OP's prediction. I like his optimism though.

Seeing how it's looking less and less likely that Ukraine will be loaned billions upon billions of freshly created euros.
I suspect they might begin stealing from our bank accounts instead - for the Ponzi... you know. 10% of your assets says the IMF paper.

then, if it's now more difficult to accumulate btc than during the november run up, well...

..if we get past these few 4th march market crash predictions, then some time in April?
