so is this ponzi paying or collapse ?

It has been paying and no reason to believe there is a major scam.   There were problems with the week 2 game and too much ended being paid out, but that has at least been partly fixed.   The main problem right now is that ipn service is down and that shut down the games for the day at least.

Why are there a bunch of confirmed transactions on 24hourponzi when there shouldn't be any yet?

The game just started a few minutes after the ipn service went down and it took a few minutes to shut the game down.   No one was paid out, but everyone is supposed to be refunded.    People have been sending in zero transaction fee deposits which probably also caused some problems.

Missing a refund from this morning's game.

https://blockchain.info/tx/1265e1e3afb5cb7be1a81f9ecd8bb6754a2d0c367f07d44e0f6ed8c796a1ffc8

It was probably skipped because it couldn't confirmed due to an unconfirmed input.   Please refund.

Thank you! Cheesy

I updated my review on page 93.   Not as harsh as before as I believe the owner is really trying.   The games are just not very polished yet.

The real shame is many of the players are as dishonest as the some scammers.    I feel sorry for the week 2 players.   I hope it will turn around.

I believe that the owner of bitcoinmonitor is based in Germany. The local time there is early morning right now so he may not have awoken as of yet. I will give it 6 hours before I begin looking at another alternative. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm not really interested in Blockchain's IPN considering querying their chain is enough of a hassle in itself.

Thanks for your understanding. I will be extending the length of Week 2 when I get it back running. No time will be lost as a result.

Cheers,

what about btcipn?

I'm not so sure about that. Looks more like a shopping cart implementation. What I'm looking for is something that constantly scans a bitcoin address that you set and when a payment is received, it notifies an IPN. Bitcoinmonitor was perfect. Just need something identical to that, not something where you have to initialise your wallet, generate different addresses and run various crons. Its unnecessary for a site like mine.

Thanks,

No problem. It's an annoyance, but it won't affect the game as it will still be the same exact length as before the failure.
well thank you for clearing this up for me will look around
