Nowadays many spread scams here in the forums are bounty and ico as well as airdrops so be careful about how you can not get involved with scams that many projects get involved with project scams for lack of review of those who come with me are still hearing that scams his altcoins wallet due to the fact that airdrops are so cautious that others are usually doing other scammers doing the website and bounty thread of the the bounty is over and they make airdrops so there will encourage other bounty hunter to join if there are airdrops asking or requiring the private key not to give because anyone can access your wallet if you have given the private key your altcoins wallet so be careful about how they are.

I have already seen a similar topic about a strange experience with scammers. However, in that topic, the guy said that ETH was stolen from his etherwallet.

As you can see there are so many airdrops and bounties outside,

i know that there are so many scammers but my question was how they managed to make a transcation from my wallet even though they dont have my private key ?
This is very weird because I haven't seen it happened before, there is no possible way they could have made a transaction from you wallet when they don't have access to your private key, maybe in the course of the airdrop, they sent you a trojan and you never knew about it, but this trojan entered into your computer monitoring all the activities you were carrying out and maybe save your private key and sent it to the hacker when you never knew, this is why we need to be careful the link we click on.
The only thing that I can also think on how this hacker will be able to access your wallet without your private key provided, this is really getting
worse, it's a big awareness that needed to  look upon, the danger of following and participating with airdrops, it should be study and make
sure you know what you are doing.

Looks very weird to me. Maybe he wrote some type of code that have time limit for transferred tokens. By the way, there are some coins that can be a scam token and it sent for tracking the eth addresses.

It is very strange. Rather than this, how we can take precautions? Besides, if the project is scam, what is the point of getting money back? What will they gain when this situation is clarified?  Huh

If you somehow put your private keys on mail or somewhere on your pc where is not safe to store and someone steal it you can't do nothing, but you should never use that address again and you should buy a hardware wallet.

One way or the order you have exposed your private key which you aren't aware of ot, that is why the scammer was able to transfer the token, besides the token doesn't possess any value you shouldn't feel hut by this.

Scammers are indeed a scary thing for us. because the presence of scammers is very troubling for bounty hunters and investors. I've experienced difficult things when I joined a project, it turned out to be a scammer.

I'm also wondering how did it happened. It's the fist time that I have heard of that kind of situation.
It's really risky to provide a private key in an airdrop but how did they manage to transact using your own wallet?

I think there are many projects similar to this what you have joined. There are fifty-fifty chance of airdrops now that are promising and giving real rewards. I hope there are ways to get rid of these scam projects and get blacklisted in thia forum and everywhere else ao that they cannot victim any other crypto enthusiast.
That's really weird this is the first time I read, that  got your coins  lost without giving anyone private key, and it's because of the smart contract and by participating in an airdrop you can lose your coins, then no one is safe now, because you can lose your coin without giving your private key, something is  amiss here since, you may undergo a step where you enter your private key.
There must be something that you have done that allowed them to take control of your eth address. Maybe one of those small stuffs that you need to do in order to receive airdrops. We can never really know unless there is more information.
Is it the only the tokens you received from that airdrop that got withdrawn or you also lost your other coins on you erc20 wallet, if it only the airdrop token that got withdrawn then it from them and they might have made a cash back operation from the transaction since you have not spent the token.
From my experience with Airdrop, I just want to add a little. Learn first carefully the airdrop itself like the clarity of the project, the team, the dev, the website, the smart contract and the equally important whitepaper. If you feel there are irregularities in one of the social media such as Facebook or Twitter that was just created and the display that is not convincing means that it is airdrop that is made impromptu just to steal airdrop participant data.

i know that the project is scam and i didnt invest in it i just paticipated in the airdrop, my question is how did they manage to make a transcation from my wallet even though im pretty sure that i didnt submit my private key.

p.s: its the only token that went out my wallet

At some point I made research on KELTA and I saw that it’s mainky a mining company that has a mining station and online mining activities that people signup for and they get paid percentage daily depending on the type of coin you are mining. Of recent there was an issue with their smart contracts which caused the unathoised sending of this coins out of people wallet. It was a general glitched an not a scam activity.

I think it's really weird, cause maybe there is a function in smart-contract that I don't understand yet.

the smart-contact creator address : 0x64117bcec6ea55d6b7ce6c92d0a981c44ca99a6b
the contract address : 0x91780bcd29620338d2d3bc16bc576d1055e85e38
the address that distributes the token : 0xb872f1cfc7beca78cdc7389a5bcfc4071958c131
Someone address : 0x9bc99e73e97a94a3d059cd7becf472d7265c3fd6

I take some minutes to find out that the creator has sent the distributor address a bunch of token, then the distributor address has distributed tokens to someone and then a while later... that someone's address sent the token back to contract creator address. WTF.

since march last year i participated in KELTA Airdrop and they made many rounds the participation requirments were easy (signup in the website and do some casual airdrop requirments and submitting my erc20 wallet address so they can send me the tokens).

in the ending of 2018 there was many talks that the token is scam and alot of airdrop Participants and token investors didnt recieve their tokens, and the admins of the token did not answer any of the questions in their telegram community.

but the weird thing was this, after the end of the last airdrop round i recieved about 70 tokens, after many monthes about 20 days before i nticed an outgoing transcation (of the 70 tokens i recieved before) from my erc20 wallet (myetherwallet) even though i didn't give my private key to anyone and the transcation was to the same address that sent me the 70 tokens before.

p.s: the same thing happened to all my contacts who paticipated in the airdrop with me

Bitcointalk bounty thread : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-ico-kelta-official-bounty-campaign-thread-2899199

Kelta erc20 address: 0x64117bcec6ea55d6b7ce6c92d0a981c44ca99a6b

is there any explination how that happened ? please help.

It's simple.

A token "transfer" is simply a routine inside the smart contract that says balances[new_address] = balances[new_address] + amount AND then balances[old_address] = balances[old_address] - amount

That's what a transfer is.

It does not involve your wallet at all.

So a scammy smart contract can do

balances[new_address] = balances[new_address] + amount

To make you believe you have been rewarded $amount tokens.

Then it can be programmed to reverse that a few days later. All it has to do is trigger ...

balances[new_address] = balances[news_address] - amount

...a few days later.

Nothing spooky going on here. Their smart contract is simply like a coin tied to a string. They send you the coin then pull it back using the string.

i know that there are so many scammers but my question was how they managed to make a transcation from my wallet even though they dont have my private key ?

I had experienced that before when I joined an airdrop a few years before. Some participants had lost a certain coin, not to mention I had some eth on my wallet that time, only a certain coin got stolen and the transaction was done within my wallet. I am not an expert with contracts or anything, but someone said that it could be that the one who made the erc-20 contract must have made a back-door on the contract to do that.

Can you please mention those similar projects to this one? It can hurt ethereum platfrom if it's is possible to do such unfair token's distribution. People will think ethereum is not a safe platform and they will start leaving this platform.
