- to obtain about same results for free;

I am trying to find the exact font as well as the original.
It seems the original font is a wider version of Times New Roman.

To another poster's point, the readership of twitter/reddit/facebook are quite different from those reading something like the NYTimes. Not sure if we could rally the funds but it would make a very large impact on many people in a way that social media can't penetrate right now.

In an ideal world that would happen. I think recently I've seen more people ditching Apple and their products because of their restrictions as opposed to people blindly singing their praises, but then there's always Apple fanboys...

The NY Times is having a daily circulation of some 2 million. Do you think that posting in Reddit can achieve similar figures?

Apple needs to get out of their walled garden and see the sunlight for once.
I like the idea behind it but the design could use a little work and fine tuning.
