Then, here we are. The story is ended and the escalation was very higher and in the same way, faster. But the same even the decrease. With a particularity which is the new one to be noted. Not at the beginning price. For the moment (must be told always such expression when is spoken for the price of bitcoin). This is the very big news. If bitcoin will remain here where it is, we have a big achievement. And a little verification of the told to many time, theory as it is written following. That one who told that the real increase of demand and the real further spread of bitcoin will make the price increased and not only this but even its stabilization in a newer one, bigger than the previous. As a bitcoiner I wouldn't desire nothing else that the verify of this theoretical hypothesis (for bitcoin).

Looking at the price now... UK time 09:35 at £243 down 12% on yesterday already... has the bubble been popped.

I considered being lucky if we finish the year above $300 few weeks ago when this run has started. That being said, current $400 on Bitfinex is more than good for me. Of course, there will always be unsatisfied people out there!

nah still holding strong, still almost 85% increase, there is no real sign of return back here

600 target as they said is still on track, anyway if it sit there for good, it cannot be called a not good achievement

Yup! I think it is a good achievement for the bitcoin community the first time I started in bitcointalk bitcoin is on $266 now it is on $396 not a bad achievement for us right? Wish it still goes up!

Told people not to start taking out loans believing that the Bitcoin price would keep increasing. I assumed that the BTC price was still hovering around $400 until I checked Bitstamp on my phone at around 1:30pm (UK time) today, imagine my surprise when we were just shy of $500 in such a short time period. That should already raise a flag about a bubble Undecided

Assume I'm not the first to post this, but that graph of yours DiamondCards is very detailed and accurate. I love it. hahah.

It's still way to bloody early to call a top on this yet, the momentum is akin to the 2011 and 2013/2014 rallies when it moves at this pace the market just appreciates for a while either way I'm looking forward to 1 Grand for now and some.
How far into new territory it goes is the question until I feel a pace change to a stable level just going to say its going up.

In 2013 there were lots of retraces when the price crashed before continuing up. The biggest one was when the US held meeting to decide whether to ban Bitcoin, and it sticks out on this chart like a sore thumb. The minute they announced they weren't going to ban it the price shot straight back up.

ironic how bitcoin is supposed to be the currency of financial freedom.

the thread of being restricted should not matter all that much.

This is true.... im personally looking forward to see what the auction will do to the price...

Not much in my opinion. Whoever buys in these auctions will not sell right away. Buyers in these auctions are actually paying over the premium just so they could buy large amount of bitcoins at the same prices. As this wouldn't be possible on regular exchanges without pushing the price through the roof.

Nothing has happened to the price after other auctions so nothing will probably happen after this one either.

Well what can I say the price of bitcoin has escalated quickly!

What are peoples views.. will this keep going or are we soon going to suffer a rather big come down?

Is going high like an arrow just released from its arc. But I agree that the main concern is and will be the sustainability of this "high". It will be ably this fast bitcoin to stay there where will be stopped. Or at least near that amount? This is the 1 million us dollar question to be solved. It is hard to believe that it will be seeing its story.

could it be the government pumping it up to sell the coins for higher price
Possibly not, governments do not publicly own much coins and they do not support it either. And why specifically there?

The prices has been rising crazily over the past few hours or days. Judging on the prices on Chinese exchange, I would say the main reason is due to the lifting of restrictions on the deposits on the chinese exchanges.

Because governments have never done anything behind our backs, right?

many bought at 600+, and they will not sell for less, and other have bought at 1k also, why it should stop at a mere 550?

no sense to me, this cna surpass easily the last ath, 3500 is not an unrealistic estimate

Well that is just my opinion, and some speculations that I have just red that is why I come up with $550 but is it good that bitcoin is still going up, if this keeps up it will certainly reach the 1k last speculation that I think bitcoin will hit.
