From my understanding what's been stolen from wallets is similar to the offering to the God. This can't be got back, as it belongs to the respective church or the other temple authority. The funds might get used in some other way for other charities through the authority. This will not be got back to the owner.

Never heard and experienced like this before through my 4 years in bitcoin industry and countless times I got scammed no one return, they stole it for a reason bro they are greedy they won't return even a penny to us. It's impossible that a scammer would ever give back the bitcoin he scammed. 
I have been hacked many times by a friend of mine in facebook. He targeted 5 websites that I am using and he took almost 200$ from me. Luckily I had only few amounts of bitcoin at store on my wallets since I always convert it to cash to be used in daily expenses. After that event I placed 2fa on almost all of my websites that I joined. As of now there are zero cases of me being hacked but I was scammed many times due to greed of earning huge profit. So far none of that btc have returned. Its hopeless.

Not a single satoshi had ever returned i deposited 0.01 btc to a doubler site when i was new to bitcoin and i managed to saved 0.01 through faucets i thought that was a legit but in the they run away my 0.01 although the price of that time was 2 dollars so, i didn't care at all, well there is nothing i can do about that since all bitcoin transactions are irreversible so, there's no way to recover it.

I had similar experience with that exchange, some of my coins are frozen there I can't withdraw them, they are asking to provide doc and activate my account before I can have the possibility to withdraw those coins. I told them I don't wanna use their exchange anymore I just want my money back and they refused. Bittrex is really a bad exchange to trade, I am glad that binance take over the market.

It is not possible to return money from scammer or hacker. My wallet was hacked in 2018 and lost my lifetime income. The old lady was withdrawing money from an ATM and the thief was waiting outside the ATM just when the lady got the money the thief barged in stole the money from her.

I once been scammed and lost a huge amount of bitcoin. I do anything i could but i cant really know how to get my bitcoin back. Even crowd sourcing isnt enough. This becomes a life long lesson in me and ive done all i can do to secure my resources now. So far im doing a good job.
Well, someone stole my credit card details and they used it for digital online purchases and I never saw that money again. 
I promised myself that I would cancel my credit card and that I would never get a credit card again .... and I have not had a credit card since then. 
I also take every precaution necessary now to protect my bitcoins from hackers and scammers.

I don't have an experience of that. But I have experience from being scammed, and the money was not returned to me. I don't think that the scammers will return the money to the victims because they will not think about that. Maybe there is Robinhood that will return that money to people, but I don't think that is many of them. If it's related to the money, only a few people will realize that stolen from other people is bad and they will give back the money to the owner.

be careful with borders or the like, as far as I know there is currently no good person who can return the stolen bitcoin, we all day guard and be careful of the rampant thieves
Tragically it can never happen, even if you put up a note that you are really poor and it's your whole life savings , it won't matter much to them.

I was lucky enough that none of my bitcoins got stolen but if you count scam ico's i participated, i never saw that bitcoins again.

damn exchange, really your fate. I'm sure you have been careful to avoid hackers and individual scamers. if any exchange do scaming is unexpected, because cases like this rarely occur. I've been scammed once and it's my biggest mistake in my crypto life, well I'm a newbie back so it's understandable. Well scammers are everywhere and i don't any scammer will give back what it already gets especially with a valuable cryptocurrency like bitcoin.

4. Lost coins when Mt Gox closed down
5. Incurred losses when Cryptopia closed down.

nah, it is almost impossible for the hacker or the one stole the BTC to return it in good faith. It is also hard to detect the culprit of stealing BTC because of anonymity. But the transaction could still.be done even if the absence of KYC still block chain could prove it.

Scammers will never give it back to you, in the first place, they have their own will to steal or scam some bitcoins to other people. What's the point of their hard work to scam some people then giving back it again?

Seems like mr scammer doesn't care at all. They don't have a moral to begin with. You don't expect someone who stole something to return it (unless you know who stole and caught it red-handed, authorities will take care of it)

scammers are people who don't have conscience. If you fall a victim, forget it your money is never coming back. Scammers will never return any money stolen, they rather sleep with girls with it and go in vacation.

It's not just hard to reverse, it is impossible. And why would a scammer return your funds? A scammer is a scammer because of their greed, no amount of sympathy will push him to return those funds. This is a stupid topic btw. Blockchain is made to be irreversible, so use your head before making any move to avoid being scammed.

I've heard some cases of honest people giving back bitcoins that had a weak brain wallet or from users that mistakenly set some coins to a wrong address. Those situations are rare and most people are greedy and you will not have any chance to recover stolen coins.

Sad thing is that I have experienced being scammed not just once but I think 5 times? Yes I am really a fool but you can't blame me for doing such because I have been make believed on a really great offer and have considered it as a good opportunity to be taken but sadly it is another way around. I have not been able to recover any single cent of my Bitcoin from the person I have entrusted my Bitcoins that is why I am so regretful and have made myself a promise not to believe on other people again when it comes to my Bitcoin. The sadder thing is that by that time, Bitcoin price value have gone into a downfall seems to be a double hit for me so it makes me sadder and more regretful. Moral lesson is not to believe on other people nor be deceived into such offerings. Better assure the credibility and reliability before getting engage into such.

It's a mean world out here. Everybody is out for money. Some do it ethically while some not. Once the money is out of our hands it's never coming back to us.

Unfortunately no, Those scammers or hackers intent to scam you or me will never give back, If they had good intent they wouldn't do it in the first place. Hackers are the worst though, They have such talent but they waste it on doing bad things, They could make so much more by doing legit things and be proud and happy about it. You hear of single mothers being jailed for stealing £10 worth of pants from a shop. If you steal £100 million through the internet no one can really be bothered to pursue it.
The Internet is a perfect tool for criminals who want to get free money, and you do not have to worry too much that you will be caught. Cryptocurrency is in this regard, a perfect target for criminals who instead of banks robbery today only need to have PC+Internet and some skills. I can not say whether this is about the failure of the official authorities to fight with this problem, or Internet is still a wild west where person can do whatever he wants, and if he is smart enough, in most cases nobody will punish him.

It's not just hard to reverse, it is impossible. And why would a scammer return your funds? A scammer is a scammer because of their greed, no amount of sympathy will push him to return those funds. This is a stupid topic btw. Blockchain is made to be irreversible, so use your head before making any move to avoid being scammed.

You hear of single mothers being jailed for stealing £10 worth of pants from a shop. If you steal £100 million through the internet no one can really be bothered to pursue it.
The Internet is a perfect tool for criminals who want to get free money, and you do not have to worry too much that you will be caught. Cryptocurrency is in this regard, a perfect target for criminals who instead of banks robbery today only need to have PC+Internet and some skills. I can not say whether this is about the failure of the official authorities to fight with this problem, or Internet is still a wild west where person can do whatever he wants, and if he is smart enough, in most cases nobody will punish him.
I know few cases where hacked / losted coins are returned to owners. Member of this forum return significant amount of BTC related to bug in some wallets.

I dint lost Bitcoin from scammers but lost some ethereum in cryptopia hack that is still in the form of CLM ( Cryptopia Loss Marker) . Apart form that i dint loose much . Long back i received fund from campaign which was more . I returned it back .

Why would scammers return back what they have stolen? That's why they are scammers for a reason. Better be aware and be vigilant with those types of people. You will never know. Having a Robinhood wouldn't be so bad. Robinhood can send some in the BTC address in my profile. 
Sadly, there is no Robinhood in the era of cryptocurrency especially in the area of hacking, phishing and just anything fraud. I have never heard anyone returned the bitcoin they stole and I think it can take a big miracle for them to do so. Well, miracles can happen but not here in cryptocurrency I guess.
Scamming is now a professional job for the many of them and once they got your bitcoin they are gaining a big satisfaction of it as the bonus for their labor and time. What we need is the real Robinhood...someone who can steal from these thieves and return the money to the victims...that can be the Robinhood that we need.
It is unfortunate that the best security measures and the best defense technology can still be breached by hackers as shown in the Binance incident. I am then asking: how safe really are small guys like you and me?

there are instances that when the ICO are failed the investments of the people are return to them sometimes the exact amount and sometimes it is already deducted, I think it is much better rather than running away the money.

Nah nope, i experienced once when a scammer stolen some of my bitcoins and i even beg to him to return all my bitcoins but nope it's never happen. Once you get scammed by a hacker, say bye to your coins. The scammer will never returned your coins, just let it go and move on.
I have read something about Court legitly saying to scammers return stolen funds from the rightfull owner.

What do you think, people are scamming and robbing people because they took inspiration from Robin Hood tales, the only thing you have to understand is that all these scammers and robbers are pissing at your inability to identify what is true and what is fiction, the greed to make more money without any effort is what these scammers are taking advantage and you really think that they will return what they scammed, for them they hard worked for that money to fool you. Inspiration for them could be themselves,absolutely well said,lazy fools scamming others and having fun out of somebody else's hard earned money ! Wish they get a life !!!
The answer is definitely no. Hackers or scammers will not do that. It will be just a lesson for you that you need to be smart or knowledgable in what field you are joining with. Bitcoin industry has its good community but for you to know there are so many also scammers that are taking advantage out of it.

If not get hacked on Binance then we not get the coins stolen back if there is no way to track the hacker and after also have to sue them to get funds and if not not have them then is hard to get them back.

Once I got trapped and lost my funds of more than 0.25btc, by that time I was new to the cryptocurrency usage. I got trapped and through some tricks he got the private key and has taken my wallet into his control. I understood something bad has taken place and further I started begging him for the funds, further I was unable to reach him through any means.
It's possible in some ways but not here in crypto world. Chances of getting your stole Bitcoins here is too small. Once you have lost it, you should start accepting that you can't have it back anymore. You should learn from it and be keen on keeping your funds. You have to store your earnings in a safer wallet.
If you got scammed then the best way is to call the police. Scammer definetely won't give your money back by himself while police can try to find him so you could sue your money back. Many scammers are using different resources that would allow cyber police to find him. That would work especially if you live in EU. Scammers don't really care about you until you find them.
There have been reports of hackers returning funds (though not bitcoin) to exchanges. I believe in some cases the primary motive for hacking is intellectual curiosity or simply letting an exchange know of a vulnerability the harsh way. Also, there could in rare cases be a change of conscience.
I think if it was stolen it would be very difficult to return it. I have lost money several times and I feel very sad.

I am so sorry for you. In the crypto world in particular and this society in general, once you get scammed, the refund is something that is unlikely to happen. First you need to know why the scammer took your money, yes, because they need money, so there is no reason they will return the money which they tried to get. I am very sympathetic to you about being cheated, but really, once you step into crypto world, you should protect your property more closely and limit trust in others.

Honestly, I have been scammed before as well. Scammer's intention is to steal our earnings which is a hilarious thing. The sad thing is we can't get back our earnings once they have stolen it. That's their nature so we must get rid of them. Their main goal is to steal the earnings of others.

Apparently,I feel there might be few scammers wandering in the forums/groups etc as well,somewhere in the corner of their hearts if they have that guilt conscious they would give it a thought not to loot people ! I know its unlikely scammers feel so as they have no ethics or morals and they decide to scam only to ensure they are happy and least bothered about whom they scam !

Too unlikely in my opinion. I mean, they're doing the scamming mainly to steal your money, while being completely aware of how greatly immoral and unethical their activity is, and you expect them to return the funds? I don't think so. If there are actually scammers who returned funds for some reason, it'd probably be as small as 0.001% of total scams.
Its on few occasions that you ever get back your bitcoin from scammers after they have scammed you and that is if you are able to know the location of the scammer and also apprehending him/her but since cryptocurrency is anonymous it very hard for that to happen in most cases but it do happen on very few occasions maybe 0.1% out of 100% cases of scam get bitcoin returned back to owner.

There is absolutely no way that a scammer will return bitcoins or any money that they have swindled out of someone. Maybe that could happen when their guilty conscience starts to affect them or maybe the victim curses them one way or another doubt it might even work.
Scammers scam because they want to have more money, some of them can't provide much on the table so they resort to scamming. I doubt there would be a scammer who will return funds sent to them. If they can get more they'd even be back to scam more from you. Think of it like you got robbed and when they saw your 15 year old car, they even took it.
