Today was a crazy day when I really regretted selling those 200 bitcoins of the 300 I found. ugh. Well at least I am gathering up bitcoins now for a while again and the value has risen a lot since then.

I think the days of getting rich are over, and bitcoin will maybe tenfold in worth, and not thousandfold as it did before, but just in case I will keep one btc.

The days of getting rich are over, they said. Bitcoin will never reach $10, they said. Grin

Never say never! Notice the size of the corrections we've been having lately? Bitcoin is still as volatile as penny stocks, even after hundredfolding. It has a huge amount of potential (including going to zero, of course, but that's why the insane bitcoin RoI is not "free moniez").

I think many can become quite rich still off bitcoin or at least make huge returns they wouldn't maybe ever had the chance of making. I can see bitcoin reaching $500 a bitcoin and you could have purchased it literally just in the past few weeks at 200 a bitcoin and you could be selling it at quite a return already. If you don't have a lot to put into bitcoin, I don't think you'll become rich off of it in the same way that people who bought bitcoin for dollars and were able to turn it around for anywhere from 100-300 per bit coin. But you never know.
Definitely if you have a thousand or a few thousand to spend on bitcoin now, I don't think you are going to turn that into retirement, but it will likely do more for you than any other investment, mutual fund, stocks, etc. that you could possibly get into.

I checked the pockets of an old suit of mine found £2.10p and 3 Tic-taks ....  If you don't know what tic-Taks are don't worry it doesn't make the story any more exciting  Sad

Tic-Tacs are yummy... and bad for your teeth. Grin
but still yummy.  Tongue

Share the wealth  Wink

Check out his cigar thread, he has been sharing the wealth, of another kind.  Best deal you are likely to find.

Thanks!

Shared some time with the City Attorney here over these.  I always follow the advice of my lawyers, and they advised that contraband ought be destroyed without delay, and that the most effective method was by burning.
Deep conversation worth far more than I could have afforded to pay for followed this.  Possibly the best investment of the year was that hour of our time together.  It wouldn't have been the same without your efforts, so I am in your debt.

Just know that what you do ripples out into the world and has many positive effects.

Wow! Great to hear

yeah, I've got into  bitcoin in early 2011, but believed the fud "idiots are paying for random numbers, this has to die soon"
now I'm living in a shitty appartement, with minimum subsistence and every day I think "why didn't I bother backup this "worthless wallet" on a wortheles cd?" I had the empty cds within reach, but couldn't be bothered to backup my wallet when I threw away my pc.... If i hadn't been so dumb this day, I would live in my own house now, instead of killing off the fungi growing in the walls on a daily basis.....
I think the days of getting rich are over, and bitcoin will maybe tenfold in worth, and not thousandfold as it did before, but just in case I will keep one btc.
Don't make my mistake folks, always backup

sorry for this maybe inlegible, and maybe ot post, but I'm straight drunk, and very sad *cry*
Just buy some coins now Smiley wait for it to get to 100,000 or 1 mil Smiley

On a plus note it's character building to know what it's like to live without a lot of money for a little time
