Once the blockchain is capable of distributing the physical printing of parts so that it doesn't take so damn long, then *that* would get a lot of people excited.  Wink

When 3D printing became more availabe, there was such a fuss around it. Now the media isn't so overwhelmed with printed items, but the industry is fastly developing, that's very important.

I think very interesting project that connecting 3D printing technologies with blockchain.
What do you think about this?

I think this is a good project everything is getting to blockchain now.

Just because it can be done, doesn't mean that it should be done.

Those guys have a very interesting idea, I think. Even if the idea of delegating tasks and monetization of idle computers isn't innovative, I like that they implement it in 3D printing.

Why does 3d printing have to be decentralized? I mean if you wana run a 3D printing business you will have some physical printers sitting in an office somewhere.  Wish you the best of luck with making this work, but imho I think everything is getting a blockchain now.

What role will a blockchain even play in this ?

I think 3D printing is still in the ooh-aah phase so it seems like marrying the two is going to be big.  For me, I don't understand the real use case or utility behind this project.  I'm waiting for someone to convince me otherwise.  Wink

Guys, that's a good project. I participated in pre-sale, follow this project for a while now. And I see that they're working!

Can you suggest a 3d printer model for at home usage?

Yep, I agree with you. I am working in heat transfer printing technology. And today when read your post, I just realize why not apply blockchain for that. This is really a great idea and in the near future, I will research what I do relate to blockchain to share with community

Looks interesting, I mean requesting to print a model for you. Are there similar projects already?

I do not think that this project will be successful, in general for what 3d printers - BlockChain. I do not understand what is here in common
I would like to know the same - how exactly is blockchain involved in 3d printing area? Does anybody know? They plan to share 3d plans or what? Does anybody know?

Dunno how blockchain link on 3d printing maybe dev could explain little more harder since its hard to think why printing needs blockchain while its so easy to be done by anyone. But as of today my review about them is bad since they are so confusing and doesn't even look promising.

I think 3DES should expand the concept. A task exchange might be useful for other 3D printing tasks. Even delegating the printing and sending the items!

People's thinking is getting bigger with blockhcahin system any thing can be combined like this project, Although the new telegram channel has 170 optimistic members will quickly grow larger. Cool
3D printing doesn't even use by so many people right now. It has no common usage in our life. That means if that was a non-sense project.
The majority of people don't even familiar with something that called 3d printing.
This doesn't make sense at all because even there is no a lot of projects can't even be solved the common thing to integrate with blockchain system.

A friend of mine has a 3d printer, there;s a lot of small inconveniencies while using it. I hope that it will get better in the future!
